Happy Friday! Some news stories for you as we head into the weekend:
• Pink News: Looksmaxxer influencer Dillon Latham has gone viral after saying being called “gay” is a compliment arguing it’s often shorthand for looking “better than average.”
• New Music: Out country music artist (and TRR favorite) Chris Housman drops his new single/music video “Dirt On Me,” inspired by learning to stop caring what others think: “I’ll keep the light, keep living like the man I was born to be til there’s nothing but dirt on me.”
• Them: Wicked star Marissa Bode took to TikTok on April 23 to voice her frustration with Southern Airways who allegedly turned her away at the gate because she is a wheelchair user. She says it’s “very rare” she doesn’t face an issue when flying.
• Broadway World: Legendary EGOT winner Liza Minnelli will be honored at an all-star concert on June 25 at Carnegie Hall. The line-up includes Kristin Chenoweth, Donna Murphy, Beth Leavel, Kate Baldwin and lots more top-shelf Broadway talent. Transport Group, which produced the HELLO, DOLLY! gala I choreographed last summer at Carnegie Hall, is producing the event.

• Fox News: A new Fox News survey found 70% of respondents say the economy is getting worse, up 15 points compared to 55% last April. Overall, twice as many say Donald Trump’s policies are hurting (56%) rather than helping (28%) the economy.
• JoeMyGod: A former youth pastor has been convicted of raping two girls under the age of 13 and sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in prison. Reminder – some folks will tell you drag queens reading books to children in a public library is somehow “the problem.”
