Las Vegas: MONDAYS DARK takes on the music of Queen

Las Vegas’ MONDAYS DARK rocked the house at Vinyl, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s intimate music venue, as the monthly event took on the music of legendary rock group Queen, raising thousands of dollars in the process.

Each month a different charity is the recipient of the evenings proceeds.  This month, the St. Therese Center for HIV Outreach was the designated organization.

Taking part were stars from all over the Las Vegas Strip including the casts of JERSEY BOYS, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES, and more.

MONDAYS DARK creator Mark Shunock has set a goal of raising $100,000 in a year for local Las Vegas charities.  As Shunock says, “What’s raised in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”

The fifth edition of “Mondays Dark with Mark Shunock” will feature ‘80s music “Unplugged” on Monday, March 17 at 8:30 pm at Body English inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The event will benefit The Shine Family Foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to help the families of U.S. Military Personnel who are deployed overseas.

Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased by visiting www.MondaysDark.com

Take a look at a few pics of the evening. All photos by the fab Denise Truscello.
