• NBC News: Pope Leo XIV says that his approach to LGBTQ Catholics will be similar to that of his predecessor: an attitude of welcome without changing church teaching. “Everyone’s invited in.”
• CBS News: A day after ABC’s indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, Donald Trump floated revoking TV broadcast licenses for networks that cover him negatively. “They give me only bad publicity or press. I mean, they’re getting a license. I would think maybe their license should be taken away.”

• BBC: French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, plan to present photographic and scientific evidence to a US court to prove Mrs. Macron is a woman in a defamation suit they filed against right-wing nutjob Candace Owens, who repeatedly declared that Brigitte was born male.
