Ivanka Trump: Testifying During School Week Would Create ‘Undue Hardship’

Ivanka Trump really doesn’t want to testify in her father’s civil fraud trial in New York City. And when the judge overseeing the case denied a motion from her attorney to quash a subpoena compelling her testimony, she appealed, claiming “undue hardship” if forced to appear during a “school week.” From the appeal filed by her attorney on Thursday:

“Ms. Trump, who resides in Florida with her three minor children, will suffer undue hardship if a stay is denied and she is required to testify at trial in New York in the middle of a school week, in a case she has already been dismissed from, before her appeal is heard.”

Mind you, this is a very wealthy woman, reportedly worth $300 million. Do you really think there’s NO ONE that could watch the kids for a day…? https://twitter.com/KathleenHBeach/status/1720472828732911915 https://twitter.com/MikeSington/status/1720451640829034991 https://twitter.com/NotHoodlum/status/1720405881412587633 https://twitter.com/MaryLTrump/status/1720253938266718285 https://twitter.com/PaulRudnickNY/status/1720487295776682434 Related: Randy Rainbow Interviews Ivanka Trump
