• Broadway World: Disney star Geno Segers (above) will not be joining the Broadway cast of Hadestown following a backlash from fans due to the actor’s past statements about transgender people and other issues on social media.
• New Music: Ariana Grande’s new music video “petal” is quite the presentation. In the video, she plays an aspiring performer who’s repeatedly dismissed as “Not Good Enough” by the fictional Fame INC. And then the chainsaw comes out.
Over 8 million views in two days and currently #1 on YouTube’s Trending Music chart.
• Boy Culture: Pop queen Madonna brought Aussie superstar Kylie Minogue out for a new duet version of “Love Sensation” at World Pride in Amsterdam.
• Variety: Sony and Marvel’s web-slinging adventure “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” scored a jaw-dropping $927 million globally in its opening weekend. It’s the second-largest worldwide debut of all time, trailing only 2019’s Marvel titan “Avengers: Endgame” with $1.2 billion.

• The Advocate: Interior Secretary Doug Burgum is publicly feuding with Jeanine Pirro over who bears responsibility for the ever-disintegrating new liner of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Records from his own department documented peeling eight days before Olympian David Hearn ever touched the loose material.
