Happy Monday! Some news stories I thought worth your time:
• U. S. Senate: After Trump’s crusade against the LGBTQ+ community at the Stonewall National Monument, Sen. Chuck Schumer has moved to permanently protect Pride flags as a “congressionally authorized flag.”
• CNN: Donald Trump hits record lows in four prominent approval polls — 26 points below water AP-NORC; 22 points below water NBC; 20 points below the water Yahoo-YouGov; 19 points below water Quinnipiac.
• Mediaite: Anderson Cooper is leaving ’60 Minutes” after turning down an offer from CBS News to renew his contract.
• Idaho Capitol Sun: The Idaho House on Monday approved a bill (56-13) that expands on the state’s law banning transgender people from using their preferred school bathrooms. House Bill 607 would allow people to sue if government entities and private businesses don’t ensure their restrooms are separated by sex.
• ICYMI: It was great fun to see DJ Bill Bennett hit #2 on the iTunes Dance Chart this weekend upon the release of his new album “DILF Act 1.”
