I met the impossibly talented Delta Goodrem many years ago through Olivia Newton-John. In addition to her musical gifts, she’s one of my favorite human beings to spend time with.
Delta is representing Australia in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest this year in Vienna. And tonight, she threw down an amazing performance in the semi-finals.
You are not ready for this. I’m so happy for Delta I practically giggled while watching.
It will come as no surprise that Delta has soared through to the grand finals on Saturday.
Olivia repped the United Kingdom at the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest coming in 4th with her song “Long Live Love.” ABBA won the contest that year representing Sweden with their iconic hit “Waterloo.”
In a recent interview, Delta shared how Olivia inspired her to participate in the long-running music competition, and has felt Olivia’s presence with her this week.
By the way, Olivia’s “manager/publicist” Delta mentions in the interview is my hubby Michael 🙂
