Is Donald Trump Germaphobic Or Not?

This morning President-elect brushed aside the recent allegations in an unverified report that suggested that during a visit to Moscow he rented a suite that he knew President and Mrs. Obama had stayed in. According to the unsubstantiated report, he allegedly paid Russian prostitutes to perform a “golden shower” show, in effect peeing all over the bed of the suite.

Referencing that anecdote, he finished the subject by saying it couldn’t have happened because he’s germaphobic.

However, in August 2015, he told The Hollywood Reporter – specifically – he was “not germaphobic.”

It’s said you are a germophobe. Will you kiss babies and shake hands on the trail?

I’m not germophobic. I do it. I want to make the country great, I’m going to win, I think I have a very good chance of winning. You probably are starting to feel that, too. I go through and shake hands and do what I have to do, and people like me and I like them. In Iowa, I must have shaken 2,000 hands — and those were only the ones that were next to me.

In related news, Penthouse Magazine has now offered $1 million to anyone who can provide any actual tapes that would corroborate the “golden shower” allegation.

Moby Agrees To DJ Trump Inauguration If Trump Releases Tax Returns

Moby

Via Independent:

Moby, who a quick Google would have shown has previously described President-elect Donald Trump as an “actual psychopath”, has been asked to DJ at one of Trump’s inauguration balls.

Unlike every other artist Trump’s people have approached about performing at the 20 January event, Moby did say he would actually play…but only if Trump makes his tax returns public as payment.

“Hahahahaha, I was just asked by a booking agent if I would consider djing at one of the inaugural balls for #trump…,” Moby wrote on Instagram.

“Hahahahaha, wait, Hahahaha, really? I guess I’d DJ at an inaugural ball if as payment #trump released his tax returns… So #trump what do you think, I DJ for you and you release your tax returns?”

Charleston: Dylann Roof Sentenced To Death For Mass Church Massacre

Charleston shooter Dylann Roof, who killed nine people in a June 2015 church shooting, has been sentenced to death.

Via the New York Times:

Dylann S. Roof, the unrepentant and inscrutable white supremacist who killed nine African-American churchgoers in a brazen racial rampage almost 19 months ago, an outburst of extremist violence that shocked the nation, was condemned to death by a federal jury on Tuesday.

The jury of nine whites and three blacks, who last month found Mr. Roof guilty of 33 counts for the attack at this city’s Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, returned their unanimous verdict after about three hours of deliberations in the penalty phase of a heart-rending and often legally confounding trial.

Mr. Roof, who had said in a closing argument hours earlier that he could ask jurors “to give me a life sentence, but I’m not sure what good that would do,” showed no expression as Judge Richard M. Gergel of Federal District Court announced the verdict.

President Obama’s Farewell Speech In It’s Entirety

From laughter at Trump to sorrow and deep abiding thanks to President Obama, whose farewell speech begins at 9PM Eastern.

ABC News reports on what to expect:

In a farewell address to the American people Tuesday night, President Obama is expected to reaffirm his belief in the ability of ordinary Americans to bring about positive change in country, according to advance excerpts of the speech released by the White House.

“This is where I learned that change only happens when ordinary people get involved, get engaged, and come together to demand it,” President Obama is set to say in his adopted hometown of Chicago, where he first became involved in public service as a community organizer.

“After eight years as your President, I still believe that. And it’s not just my belief. It’s the beating heart of our American idea – our bold experiment in self-government,” the president will say.

“It’s the conviction that we are all created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, among them life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It’s the insistence that these rights, while self-evident, have never been self-executing; that We, the People, through the instrument of our democracy, can form a more perfect union.”

Kellyanne Conway Denies Trump Was Briefed On Russian Claims Of “Compromising” Intel On Him

The Hill is reporting tonight that Donald Trump senior advisor Kellyanne Conway is pushing back on reports that the President-elect was briefed on reports that Russia had collected a dossier of compromising information on hm.

CNN on Tuesday reported that the Intelligence Community briefed the president-elect and President Obama last week about the allegations by appending a two-page synopsis, based on memos written by a former British MI6 operative, to its larger report about Russian meddling in the election.

The dossier has reportedly been circulating through the intelligence community. The synopsis was reportedly included in part to show that Russia was partial to Trump over Hillary Clinton, choosing not releasing damaging information about him. Conway said late Tuesday that Trump was “not aware” of the two-page synopsis that was presented as an appendix to the main intelligence report.

The Daily Beast adds:

As an “American citizen” regardless of political party, Conway said, “we should be concerned that intelligence officials leak to the press and won’t go and tell the president-elect or the president of the United States himself now, Mr. Obama, what the information is. They’d rather go tell the press.”

At that point, Meyers cut her off, saying, “But the report was about them going to the president.” When she pushed back, he added, “I believe it said they did brief him on it.”

The first sentence of CNN’s report reads, “Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.”

“He has said he’s not aware of that,” Conway replied of her boss, to which Meyers said, “That concerns me.”

As should us all. Watch Conway’s comments below:

Russia Has “Compromising Personal And Financial” Information On Trump According To US Intel

President-elect Donald Trump (L), Russian President Putin (R)

No wonder he wouldn’t publicly criticize the Russian Government or Putin.

CNN reports:

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

The allegations were presented in a two-page synopsis that was appended to a report on Russian interference in the 2016 election. The allegations came, in part, from memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative, whose past work US intelligence officials consider credible. The FBI is investigating the credibility and accuracy of these allegations, which are based primarily on information from Russian sources, but has not confirmed many essential details in the memos about Mr. Trump.

The classified briefings last week were presented by four of the senior-most US intelligence chiefs — Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, FBI Director James Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, and NSA Director Admiral Mike Rogers.

One reason the nation’s intelligence chiefs took the extraordinary step of including the synopsis in the briefing documents was to make the President-elect aware that such allegations involving him are circulating among intelligence agencies, senior members of Congress and other government officials in Washington, multiple sources tell CNN.

The piece of intel that has most of the internet buzzing regarded a visit by Trump to the Moscow Ritz Carlton, where he allegedly insisted on staying in the same suite where President and Mrs. Obama had stayed (whom he hated).

During the alleged hotel stay, Trump is said to have hired Russian prostitutes to “perform a ‘golden showers’ (urination) show.” According to the report, the suite – in fact the entire hotel – was geared with microphones and concealed cameras.

So, you can image, if true, what the Russians would have on Trump.

“Bicep Ref” Mike Defee Steals National Championship Game Spotlight

Dang, those arms!

The only “player” I saw during last night’s National Championship game between Clemson and Alabama was Big 12 Conference referee Mike DeFee.

Check those guns. Jesus.

Charlotte Church: If Team Trump Did A Simple Internet Search, They’d Know I Think He’s A Tyrant

Charlotte Church (image via Facebook)

Another ‘no’ for the Donald Trump inauguration, this time from singer Charlotte Church.

Via Raw Story:

The latest artist to turn down an invitation to sing at the inauguration is Welsh singer Charlotte Church, a soprano who began her career in classical music before crossing over to pop music last decade.

Unlike most singers asked to perform at the inauguration, however, Church didn’t just politely turn down Trump’s request in private. Rather, she took to Twitter and called Trump a “tyrant” and rejected his proposition using several poo emojis.

Trump has had an impossible time finding any A-list talent to sing at his inauguration, and has been turned down by artists including Elton John, tenor Andrea Bocelli, and Celine Dion. Additionally, some members of groups who are performing at the inauguration, such as the Rockettes and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, have loudly protested being asked to entertain Trump.

Sen. Cory Booker Will Testify Against Jeff Sessions’ Attorney General Nomination

The hearing to confirm Sen. Jeff Sessions is currently underway, being broadcast on all cable networks.

CNN has the details regarding Sen. Cory Booker’s historic testimony:

Democratic Sen. Cory Booker is set to testify against Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions Wednesday in an unprecedented move during his attorney general confirmation. This would be the first time in Senate history that a sitting senator will testify against another sitting senator for a Cabinet post during a confirmation.

“I do not take lightly the decision to testify against a Senate colleague,” Booker said. “But the immense powers of the attorney general combined with the deeply troubling views of this nominee is a call to conscience.”

Sessions’ confirmation hearings, which begin Tuesday, are expected to raise additional questions on old allegations of racism from his past. When Sessions was a 39-year-old US attorney in Alabama, he was denied a federal judgeship because the Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony during hearings in March and May 1986 that Sessions had made racist remarks and called the NAACP and ACLU “un-American.”

Booker called Sessions’ record “concerning in a number of ways,” citing his opposition to bipartisan criminal justice reform and immigration reform, criticism of the Voting Rights Act and his “failure to defend the civil rights of women, minorities, and LGBT Americans.”

You can watch the hearing currently underway at the streaming link below:

Sarah Flores, a spokesperson for Sessions, told CNN this morning that Sessions considers the Obergefell decision, which made same-sex marriage the law of the land, “settled law.”
