UK Radio Host James O’Brien Decimates Anti-LGBT Caller With One Question

Radio host James O’Brien

Discussing homosexuality and religion on his LBC radio show in the UK, host James O’Brien shut down a “Christian” caller named Daniel with just one question.

“What did Jesus say in the Bible about homosexuality?”

From Attitude:

Scrabbling for an answer, Daniel begins: “Well, in 1 Corinthians…”

But O’Brien cuts in to point out that the First Corinthians is “a letter written by someone who never met Jesus.”

He adds: “1 Corinthians is a letter that St Paul wrote. What did Jesus say, on the record, in the Bible about homosexuality?”

As Daniel struggles to answer, O’Brien keeps on coming.

“It’s a simple question. What did he say? You can say nothing, because that’s the true answer, or you can carry on blustering,” he says.

In all, O’Brien asks Daniel what Jesus said about homosexuality an incredible 27 times.

He tells the befuddled caller: “Listen, you have a great day. May God go with you. You can’t answer the question about Jesus… which is kind of the point. Which leads me to conclude what you’re really terrified of Daniel is something that’s going on inside of you.”

Check O’Brien’s expert handling of the situation below:

West Virginia Sees Surprise Results In Welfare Drug Testing

Back in 2015, a representative for the National Conference of State Legislatures informed lawmakers in West Virginia that drug testing of low-income people applying for welfare aid historically results in very few positive tests.

But, the West Virginia lawmakers went on to pass a welfare drug-testing law by a large margin anyway in the next legislative sessions.

Those who supported the bill insisted the bill would help get those using drugs into treatment. Opponents decried the effort saying it unfairly stereotyped low-income folks.

At the time, it was estimated that the testing, which would cost about $50,000 a year, would flag about 390 people in the first year. That would amount to about 32 positive tests a month with an annual cost about $128 per positive test.

The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources began drug testing some applicants last October.

Between then and January 5 of this year, 873 folks applied for help, with 107 being asked to test for drug use based on a questionnaire.

The results?

A total of four applicants tested positive for drug use. At that rate, the state could expect to find 24 positive tests a year. That would average over $2,000 per positive test.

Draw your own conclusions.

Wall Street Journal: Porn Star Paid $130K Before Election To Stay Quiet On

The Wall Street Journal (a conservative newspaper I shall note) is reporting Stephanie Clifford, an adult film performer whose stage name is Stormy Daniels, agreed to a $130,000 payment to keep quiet about an alleged sexual encounter.

A lawyer for President Donald Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter.

Michael Cohen, who spent nearly a decade as a top attorney at the Trump Organization, arranged payment to the woman, Stephanie Clifford, in October 2016 after her lawyer negotiated the nondisclosure agreement with Mr. Cohen, these people said.

Ms. Clifford, whose stage name is Stormy Daniels, has privately alleged the encounter with Mr. Trump took place after they met at a July 2006 celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, these people said. Mr. Trump married Melania Trump in 2005.

Mr. Trump faced other allegations during his campaign of inappropriate behavior with women, and vehemently denied them. In this matter, there is no allegation of a nonconsensual interaction.

I wonder if Trump calls the WSJ “fake news?”

The White House dismissed the story calling it “recycled.”

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen did not address the payment, but did deny there was any sexual encounter with Ms. Daniels.

According to the report, the payment to Daniels was made through the company that owns the National Enquirer. It’s well-known the owner is a friend of Donald Trump.

The company claims she was paid to write “fitness columns.”

It does cross my mind that this could be a diversion from Trump’s woeful racist comments of late…?

NOW Trump Denies Calling Haiti & Africa “Shithole Countries”

Donald Trump took some of his morning “Executive Time” to attempt some cleanup in the aftermath of calling Haiti and African nations “shithole countries.”

Yesterday, aftere the report by The Washington Post about the comment made in the presence of lawmakers in the Oval Office, the White House issued a statement that did not deny his use of the slur.

Today, is a different story. At first, he was standing strong on the comments as they seemed to play well to his base.

Then, on Trump “fave rave” TV show Fox & Friends, the hosts denounced the comment and said he should “walk it back:”

And he did…

Cover Of Today’s NY Daily News

From the cover story of today’s New York Daily News:

Social media erupted Thursday after President Trump slammed protections for immigrants from “s–thole countries” in the Caribbean and Africa, while some leaders chose to ignore his controversial remarks.

“Why are we having all these people from s–thole countries come here?” the President reportedly griped during an Oval Office meeting Thursday afternoon.

Advocacy group leaders called Trump’s comments “racist” but chose not to focus on his latest attack on immigrants.

“How does one even react to that?” said Ninaj Raoul, co-founder of Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees (HWHR,) told the Daily News Thursday.
