White House Staffers May Quit Over Rudy Giuliani Media Circus

Axios reports there is unrest in the White House as the Rudy Giuliani media circus continues to unravel.

If you were gobsmacked watching Rudy Giuliani’s media tour this week — which he launched on Fox News’ Hannity by announcing that Trump reimbursed lawyer Michael Cohen for a hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels — you weren’t alone.

What we’re hearing: A White House official told me there were “a couple of Mooch references” in the West Wing last week, as Giuliani’s performance recalled Anthony Scaramucci’s frenzied 11-day stint last summer as White House communications director.

If the Giuliani circus continues unabated — with him taking media calls day and night and freelancing on legal and policy matters — White House staff will likely quit, a well-placed source tells me.

And John Oliver of HBO’s Last Week Tonight offered this summation of Rudy’s first two weeks as Donald Trump’s new legal eagle.

The musical alchemy between Lambert and Queen has been a magical ride since first sharing a stage for the American Idol finale in May 2009. Years later now, with 150 shows in their pocket, the potent power players are filling stadiums and festivals with an awe-inspiring show drawing across-the-board rave reviews.

When Queen and Lambert debuted the show last year, Billboard Magazine raved called the production, “a seamlessly executed Vegas assault — a just-right balance of kitsch, classic rock and ‘70s excess. It’s all there; the bombast, melodrama, the drum solos, the glitter, the great songs, a crazy light show, big power chords.”

More from the press:

“A master class in design, lighting and supreme musicianship. Long may Lambert and the Queen of now reign.” – News Corp Australia Network

“With fantastic players, a dazzling stage design, an almost unparalleled catalogue of classic songs, and an outstanding frontman, Queen still offer one of the most entertaining nights of rock and roll to be seen and heard anywhere.” – Daily Telegraph

Announcing this specially-crafted “The Crown Jewels” show, Queen’s Brian May said: “We’re ready to take on the ultimate challenge … to dazzle Vegas!!”

Band mate Roger Taylor concurred saying, “Looking forward to rocking the Strip,” singing the praises of “the audaciously and phenomenally talented Adam Lambert.”

Lambert gushed back: “I’m so excited to help share ‘The Crown Jewels’ with the Strip. You’ll be humming them all night!”

Lambert recently teamed up with out rocker Melissa Etheridge on her hit power-ballad, “I’m the Only One,” at this year’s GLAAD Media Awards:

Randy Rainbow Parodies Disney Classic With “Rudy And The Beast”

Just in time for a Monday morning, political satirist Randy Rainbow shares his musical take on Rudy Giuliani’s recent media meltdown set to the title song from Disney’s 1991 animated classic, Beauty And The Beast.

Trump’s Monday Meltdown On Twitter

Donald Trump

Another Monday, another Twitter meltdown by Cheeto in Chief Donald Trump.

This morning the Trumpster took aim at the ongoing Special Counsel investigation led by Robert Mueller. Pointing to the sad, half-hearted results of the GOP-led House Intelligence Committee’s investigation Trump proclaimed “No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia!”

He also took a swipe at the “13 Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt” as he alluded to “unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!”

Of course, what he doesn’t mention is that Robert Mueller himself is a life-long Republican.

Also, still feeling the sting of supporting Republican loser Roy Moore down in the recent Alabama Senate race, Trump attacked former CEO Don Blankenship who’s running for the Republican Senate nomination in West Virginia.

Blankenship is a former coal CEO who went to jail after violating mining safety regulations and 29 coal workers died. Polls show Blankenship currently leading the GOP pack which could spell disaster for the Repubs trying to pick up a Democratic held Senate seat.

The Republican nominee will run against incumbent Sen. Joe Manchin, who has also served as governor of West Virginia.

Video: Stormy Daniels On SNL Cold Open

So, Saturday Night Live went THERE tonight with the one and only Stormy Daniels making a guest appearance in the cold open opposite Alec Baldwin’s “Donald Trump.”

From NBC: “With the FBI listening in, Michael Cohen (Ben Stiller) fields calls from an all-star roster of Trump characters including Donald Trump (Alec Baldwin), Rudy Giuliani (Kate McKinnon), Melania Trump (Cecily Strong), Ivanka Trump (Scarlett Johansson) and Jared Kushner (Jimmy Fallon) and the real Stormy Daniels.”

Stormy:”A storm’s a comin’, baby!”

Donald: “I’ve never been so scared and so horny at the same time!”

Just delicious.

Is Rudy Giuliani Trying To Get Donald Trump Impeached?

I’m a bit slow this morning as I sit down at my desk and the Twitterverse is going gaga over Donald Trump’s new lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, having a disastrous appearance on ABC News’ This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

I’ve been a bit burned out on the constant dumpster fire that is the Trump administration, so I scrolled past several of these posts and tweets.

Finally, there are so many I decide to take a look. How bad could it have been?

Umm, really bad.

Giuliani swung from trying to deny the Donald ever met porn star Stormy Daniels (Stephanopoulos puts a pic of the two onscreen) to dismissing his own statements to other media outlets as “rumors” to admitting he didn’t know if it was ok to lie to the press.

At one point, Stephanopoulos asked if Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen had made payments to other women on behalf of the president? Giuliani’s response: “I have no knowledge of that, but I would think if it was necessary, yes.”

The former mayor of New York City also suggested that Trump may invoke the 5th Amendment.

Donald Trump Spends His 111th Day On Golf Course Since Taking Office

Donald Trump is spending his Sunday at his Virginia golf property.

This marks his 111 day on a golf course since taking the oath of office.

Note – I wouldn’t care about how much a this president plays golf if it weren’t for the hypocrisy this demonstrates after the Trumpster criticized President Obama continually for hitting the links during his administration.

The Donald also promised his followers during the campaign he’d never leave the White House to play golf because there would be so much to do.

So much for that…
