Jeff Tomsik (photo credit Charles Quiles)

Can we pause on this pic, please?

Jeff Tomsik was discovered a few years ago while working as a garbage man in LaGrange, Ohio.

Whoa!

Immediately he was shot by the legendary Bruce Weber for a campaign that resulted in Jeff becoming  “the face” of Hollister.

Fast forward.

Featured in campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue, American Eagle…. blah, blah, blah, look at him, look at him, look at him!

Featured on pages of Vogue, Interview, Homme Style, Runway….  blah, blah, blah, look at him, look at him, look at him!

In the past month, Tomsik has been working non-stop for Saks Fifth Avenue, Under Armour, MV Sports and Target. He’s shot a few commercials, as well as an upcoming feature in VMan Magazine and an editorial for Bride Magazine.

Check out the handsome (and very busy) Mr. Jeff Tomsik on the recent opening night Red Carpet for the hit Broadway revival of The Trip To Bountiful.

Joan Rivers and Bristol Palin to switch places on CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP

Joan Rivers and Bristol Palin to switch places on Celebrity Wife Swap

Get ready for this.

In the June 23rd season premiere episode of Celebrity Wife Swap Joan and Melissa Rivers will switch places with Bristol and Willow Palin according to US Weekly:

Bristol and her son, Tripp, 4, live in Wasilla, Alaska, with Willow. Needless to say, snow in May is a surprise for L.A.-based Melissa and Joan, who arrive to find that Tripp rules the roost. According to ABC’s release, Melissa “finds it a challenge to deal with Tripp’s boyish exuberance.” She thinks he needs more structure and a daily routine.

Meanwhile, at the Rivers’ L.A. home, which doubles as a television production office and the set of three TV shows, every day is scheduled to the minute for Melissa’s son Cooper, 12. The house bustles with cameras and crews, but the family makes sure to always sit down for dinner together. Bristol is surprised by it all, and vows to lighten things up.

I’ve rarely watched the show at all. But yes, I WILL be watching to see what Joan and Melissa inflict on the Bristol Palin household.

My only hope is Mama Sarah “Lipstick Pig” Palin shows up while Joan in on watch…

France’s first gay married couple honeymoon in Tel-Aviv

As Gay Pride kicks off in Tel Aviv, France’s first gay married couple, Vincent Autin and Bruno Boileau, are clearly enjoying life while honeymooning in ‘the White City.”

From the Times of Israel:

On Friday morning, after spending the night at the seaside mansion of French Ambassador Christophe Bigot, Autin and Boileau arrived at Tel Aviv’s Gan Meir for a morning of music and speeches before the annual Pride Parade.

“France has voted for the law of love,” Autin, a 40-year-old gay rights activist, told a group of reporters who gathered to greet him and his new spouse. “For us it’s very important to be a bridge, especially here in the Middle East, so that what’s happened in France, and the way we are received and embraced here, can become an example for the rest of the Middle East.”

Congratulations to the happy couple! More wine!

Excerpts from 20th Anniversary gala of “The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me”

Excerpts from the 20th Anniversary gala performance of David Drake’s ground-breaking play The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me.

The sold-out benefit performance on May 20, 2013, raised a $66,025 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Sero Project.

The re-imagined work was transformed from a one-man show into one featuring an all-star ensemble cast.

Actor and activist David Drake wrote The Night Larry Kramer Kissed Me in the early 1990s. After joining the activist group ACT UP, Drake began writing autobiographical monologues about the AIDS crisis that eventually became the one-man show about this critical point in American history.

The one-night-only benefit performance featured an ensemble of talented actors, including Drake, Brandon Cordeiro, two-time Tony Award nominee Robin De Jesús, two-time Tony nominee André De Shields, Claybourne Elder, Tony nominee Rory O’Malley, Anthony Rapp, Chad Ryan, Donald C. Shorter, Jr., Wesley Taylor, Aaron Tone and Tony winner BD Wong. Tony nominee Robert La Fosse directed.

Cal Poly University: Gay students shut down anti-gay preacher on campus

Gay students kiss while anti-gay preacher talks about the evils of homosexuality, being gay and marriage equality

At California Poly State University in San Luis Obispo this week, an anti-gay ‘preacher’ was exercised her freedom of speech on campus to pontificate on the evils of homosexuality and same-sex marriage.

Two students decided to exercise their freedom of expression, too, in their own way.

The crowd was clear on what position they support.

Transgender former Navy Seal tells her story in new memoir

Christopher Beck served as a U.S. Navy SEAL in some of the most dangerous battlegrounds in the world, including Iraq and Afghanistan and earned medals and commendations including the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart

But for 20 years while Beck was fighting for his country, he was also fighting an inner battle over his identity. He wanted to live his life as a woman.

After retiring in 2011, Beck did just that. Chris Beck is now Kristin Beck.

Kristin has written a book, Warrior Princess, about her journey as a US Navy Seal and the process of living life in the light today.

Last night, Kristin spoke with Anderson Cooper about the transition from being a masculine Navy SEAL to a feminine woman.
