Donald Trump announced on social media there will be a 3-day ceasefire in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in order to observe “Victory Day,” recognized each year in Russia for the end of World War II.

Gainesville city officials and residents celebrated the opening of the newly-renovated City Hall Plaza that will provide more functional community space and accommodate more than 2,000 people.

Andre Brown Jr., 33, was arrested on Sunday, May 3, in Florida for brutally beating a 5-year-old boy.
Brown reportedly told deputies that he abused the child because of his sexual orientation, claiming he would “beat the gay out of him if possible.” Brown now facing charges of aggravated child abuse and resisting arrest.
Due to Brown maliciously beating the child and causing a fracture to his right wrist for the belief of being gay, this crime is classified as a hate crime.
