More measles cases are being reported in west Texas with at least 10 cases as of Friday according to The Texas Department of State Health Services. The outbreak has only affected unvaccinated students so far. Eight of the cases were found in Gaines County which (no surprise) has one of the highest levels of vaccine exempt students in the state.. Some news items you might have missed: • LGBTQ Nation: Aaron Craig Gleason (above), is an anti-LGBTQ+ writer (The Daily Wire, The Federalist) who has accused queer people of “grooming” children for sexual abuse. He was arrested on January 28 and charged with molesting a child under the age of 12. Gleason, 39, is also a middle school teacher and a soccer coach. A federal judge has hit ‘pause’ on the deadline for Donald Trump’s “buyout program” for federal workers.
