Broadway World: The pro-shot of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Merrily We Roll Along (above) will be released in movie theaters worldwide December 5, 2025.

LGBTQ Nation: Puerto Rican Gov. Jenniffer González-Colón (R) has signed a bill banning gender-affirming care for trans youth under 21. The legislation bans both gender-affirming surgeries (which are rarely performed on minors anyway) and hormone therapy.

ABC7 in San Francisco: The White House plans to reopen Alcatraz, the former federal penitentiary. Alcatraz currently generates about $60 million in annual revenue, according to the National Park Service. Refurbishing the island and building a new prison would cost at least a quarter of a billion dollars.
