• LGBTQ Nation: The Dallas Wings’ Arike Ogunbowale got married last month in a secret Miami wedding ceremony to her longtime girlfriend, influencer Lala Ronay. The All-Star MVP shared the news on her Instagram writing, “Here’s to a lifetime of us.”
• The Fight: Riding waves of momentum from their recent hits, Dylan O’Brien (Twinless) and Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry) are set to star in a darkly comedic thriller, Apparatus. Production is slated to begin in Toronto this week. Industry insiders suggest a post-production turnaround aimed at the Fall 2026 festival circuit.

• Amherst Daily Voice: Daniel Tocci, who was pardoned by Donald Trump for his part in the violent January 6 invasion of the U.S. Capitol, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography after investigators found more than 110,000 illicit images on his devices. A judge sentenced him to four years in prison.
• NOTUS: Over the weekend, Vice President JD Vance scored 53% in the Conservative Political Action Conference’s 2028 straw poll – down 8 points from last year. Secretary of State Marco Rubio surged into second place with 35%.
