Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton trolled Donald Trump today tweeting a parody letter of Trump’s now-infamous letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Clinton’s tweet featured a fake letter from President Kennedy to former Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev that appeared previously on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ The parody missive reads, “Don’t be a dick, ok? Get your missiles out of Cuba. Everybody will say ‘Yay! Khrushchev! You’re the best!’ But if you don’t everybody will be like ‘what an asshole’ and call your garbage country ‘The Soviet Bunion.’ You’re really busting my nuts here. Give you a jingle later. Hugs, John Fitzgerald Kennedy.” #FTW
After much pushback from Republicans and Democrats, Donald Trump announced he will not award himself the contract to host the next G7 summit at his Florida golf resort. Trump attempted to say the decision wouldn’t enrich him because he offered to host the event ‘at cost.’ Of course, even if that were to be true (who would ever know?) the amount of world-wide press/publicity his property would get would be worth millions at a minimum. Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told Fox News’ Chris Wallace Team Trump was “surprised at the pushback” they received over the idea. As CBS News’ David Begnaud notes “it’s surprising that they were surprised.” In that Trump owns the Doral, he was going to make money off of one of the biggest annual political summits in the world.

So, Trump decided NOT to commit a felony and now he’s mad about it???
…..its own 50 to 70 unit building. Would set up better than other alternatives. I announced that I would be willing to do it at NO PROFIT or, if legally permissible, at ZERO COST to the USA. But, as usual, the Hostile Media & their Democrat Partners went CRAZY!
‘He’s a thug, he’s a crook, he’s our president. Crime after crime.’ Check out this scathing song parody of Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” by Jen Houston listing Donald Trump’s many transgressions. Clever lyrics… 🙂
Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told the press Donald Trump used military aid to Ukraine as leverage to get the Ukrainian government to investigate Trump’s political opponents. When asked if the aid was conditioned on investigating Democratic National Committee server, Mulvaney said, “We do it all the time.” He denied it to Chris Wallace, but Wallace brought the receipts. #oops “You were asked specifically by Jonathan Karl was investigating Democrats one of the conditions for holding up the aid, was part of the quid pro quo, and you said ‘it happens all the time,’” Wallace said. Mulvaney claims since he himself never uttered the words ‘quid pro quo’ it can’t be pinned on him.

If you thought ‘Thor’ could hurl a hammer, check out shirtless Avengers star Chris Hemsworth sling some weights around in a grassy field. Now, to be fair, there’s a very good reason why Hemsworth is shirtless. You see, it spontaneously burst into flames. “It was so hot my shirt literally burst into flames,” wrote Hemsworth. “Luckily I was wearing my favourite pair of fire retardant shorts.” “Give this circuit a go 6 times through Centrfit,” he added referencing his fitness app which boasts training programs and tips from Hemsworth’s own fitness team. The circuit consists of bent-over rows, a farmer’s carry, bicep curls combined with overhead press, and topped off with a sprint. Do that six times and we’re pretty sure we’d burst into flames as well.
The post has been liked over 3.2 million times at this writing. The 36-year-old actor is known for sharing his circuit workouts via Instagram. Last month, Hemsworth shared this challenging bit of gym time wrestling some iron with trainers Luke Zocchi and Jorge Blanco. Now, when the god of thunder is out of breath, you know it’s intense.
We may (or may not) have seen the final Avengers movie with Avengers: Endgame, but Hemsworth will return as the thunder god in Thor: Love and Thunder in 2021. One thing is for sure: Hemsie is definitely going to be in tip-top, god-like shape. Here’s one more workout from our hero – this one is called the Devil’s Workout. I’d get sweaty with these guys, how about you?
Irony is truly dead. This is a real thing – this is actually on the WhiteHouse.gov website. That would be the same White House where the current occupant of the Oval Office is none other than Donald “Grab ’em by the pussy” Trump. It’s really hard to believe that we aren’t being punked or something…
Randy Rainbow trolls Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani – “former mayor and soon-to-be-former lawyer of soon-to-be-former president, Donald Trump – with the query, with this parody of ABBA’s “Mamma Mia.”
Giuliani, here you go againLie, lie, how can we believe you?Giuliani, gurl who let you in?Ay, ay, when will Donald leave you?Blowing his own defenses, flubbing his false pretenses,Can’t trust what he says on TV shows

A three-year investigation by the U.S. State Department has cleared former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton of any mishandling of classified information through the use of a private email server. This result concurs with former FBI Director James Comey’s similar conclusions in 2016 that found Clinton hadn’t broken any laws. From the Washington Post:
A multiyear State Department probe of emails that were sent to former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s private computer server concluded there was no systemic or deliberate mishandling of classified information by department employees, according to a report submitted to Congress this month.
The report appears to represent a final and anticlimactic chapter in a controversy that overshadowed the 2016 presidential campaign and exposed Clinton to fierce criticism that she later cited as a major factor in her loss to President Trump.
In the end, State Department investigators found 38 current or former employees “culpable” of violating security procedures — none involving material that had been marked classified — in a review of roughly 33,000 emails that had been sent to or from the personal computer system Clinton used.
For those found culpable, the violations will be noted in their files and will be considered when applying for or renewing security clearances. It’s worth noting that this State Department investigation was performed under the Trump administration. If they were going to find anything, this would have been the group to do it. And, again, they found nothing to hang on Hillary. As the WaPo adds, while Donald Trump continues to rant on the campaign trail about the phony, twice-disproved conspiracy theory regarding her emails, his own representatives have been found to be using private cell phones and texting apps while working on his behalf. #hypocrisy

Michael and I laughing as Olivia Newton-John officiates the renewal of our wedding vows Some news items you might have missed: • The Big Two-Five: I’ll share the full details soon, but yes, hubby Michael and I celebrated our 25th anniversary together yesterday renewing our wedding vows. And handling the officiating duties was our dear friend (and international pop star), Olivia Newton-John. #Magic My wish is that everyone celebrates their 25th with as much joy and love that surrounded us yesterday. Thanks to the fabulous Denise Truscello for the awesome pic 🙂 • Deadline: With domestic box office gross of $83.5 million, Focus Features’ Downton Abbey movie, which features a gay storyline, has surpassed another gay-themed Focus Features film, three-time Oscar-winner Brokeback Mountain, as the highest-grossing title of all time for the studio. • KIT212: Check out what’s the what this week in gay magazines across the country. • Washington Post: Lenny Pozner, who lost his six-year-old son Noah in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, has spent years trying to stop people from spreading lies claiming the massacre was faked and never happened. In June, Pozner won a defamation case against book editors James H. Fetzer and Mike Palecek, who published statements that his son’s death certificate was a fake. On Tuesday, a Wisconsin jury ordered Fetzer to pay Pozner $450,000 in punitive damages. • Axios: An internal impeachment polling memo that was sent to House Democrats Thursday included specific messaging guidance: “When discussing Trump’s actions, keep the language simple, direct and values-based…No one is above the law…The whistleblower did the right thing by coming forward…Focus on the biggest issues facing families in the country, specifically health care and wages.” • BBC: Little monsters were agog last night when a fan who got pulled up on stage during Lady Gaga’s Enigma concert in Las Vegas lost his footing and fell off-stage while holding the pop star. Gaga didn’t seem to suffer any serious injuries and went on with the show. She brought the fan back on stage to sit at the piano as she sang “Million Reasons” and implored folks on the internet to be nice to him telling the audience, “And if anybody on the internet is mean to you tomorrow about this then I’m going to be very upset with each and every one of them.”
Following the opening of the first UK branch of Chick-fil-A restaurants last week, the eatery is already facing closure. The controversial fast-food chain, which has attracted negative attention for years due to donations to anti-LGBTQ organizations, opened its first outlet at The Oracle shopping center in Reading, Berkshire. When the news was announced on a local Facebook page, the comments got pretty heated with many familiar with the restaurant’s history of supporting homophobic organizations chiming in. “Not a company I would want to support regardless of what their food tastes like!” wrote one commenter. “Shame they are choosing our fabulously diverse town to ‘test’ in!” “I totally agree with you!” added another. “I’m American and cannot support this business. It is anti-gay… anti-LGBT.” “You have literally got to be kidding me,” declared a Reading resident. “You do know just how blatantly homophobic they are? I’m ashamed of all involved in allowing this to happen, honestly. Utterly unacceptable.” “Vile won’t be eating there sadly until they stop their discriminatory and hate-filled policies!” A spokesperson for Chick-fil-A issued a statement following the opening:
“We opened a pilot licensed location at The Oracle Centre of Reading on October 10 and we are pleased by customer response. Chick-fil-A is a restaurant company focused on serving great food and hospitality. We are represented by more than 145,000 people from different backgrounds and beliefs and welcome everyone.”
But today, the BBC is reporting a spokeswoman for The Oracle shopping center says “the right thing to do” was to not extend the fast-food outlet’s lease past the “six-month pilot period.”
“We always look to introduce new concepts for our customers, however, we have decided on this occasion that the right thing to do is to only allow Chick-Fil-A to trade with us for the initial six-month pilot period, and not to extend the lease any further.”
After statements in 2012 by CEO Dan Cathy who responded “Guilty as charged” when asked about opposing marriage equality resulted in much unwanted bad press, the company shared on its Facebook page it would change course and focus on chicken leaving the “policy debate over same-sex marriage to the government and political arena.” But ThinkProgress reports the company has continued to donate to anti-LGBTQ organizations like the Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
