President Joe Biden announced today the U.S. will ban all Russian oil and gas in order to punish Putin and not fund his war on Ukraine. Some news items you might have missed: • New York Times: President Biden announced the U.S. is banning all Russian oil and gas imports so that we don’t help fund Putin’s war on Ukraine. It’s a gutsy move on Biden’s part as he knows Americans will blame presidents for gas prices, even though they really have practically no authority over gas prices. But it’s the right thing to do. Florida Passes Hateful Don't Say Gay Bill Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill has passed in the state Senate over bipartisan objection by a vote of 22-17. Eight Republican lawmakers, including the leader of one of the largest child welfare organizations in Florida, voted against the bill in the Florida House. The bill now goes to Gov.
