Grace and Gratitude Renewed – Olivia Newton-John
So it was a year ago this month that Olivia Newton-John released her fantastic CD “Grace and Gratitude Renewed” to critical acclaim. On top of everything else she’s done in her career – one of the longest recording charting artists in the history of Billboard Magazine – she debuted at #2 of the New Age Billboard chart which was a completely new chart for her music. And we’re talking a 40+ year music career. I honestly love this CD. As many Randy Report readers know, these songs accompanied me through my own personal cancer journey. The songs, on a daily basis, reminded me to love myself and to think in a broader global view. Randy Phillips wears his new t-shirt to the base gym
With the repeal of DADT, newly “out” airman Randy Phillips wears his “It Gets Better” Project t-shirt to work out at the base gym where he is stationed.
Randy became an internet sensation coming out to his father on video and posting the emotional moment on youtube.com the day DADT was repealed.
Before the funeral of 2nd Lt. James Cathey US Marine
The night before the burial of her husband 2nd Lt. James Cathey of the United States Marine Corps, killed in Iraq, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time.
The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of “Cat”, and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept.
“I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it” she said. “I think that’s what he would have wanted”.
Not sure what is more honorable: Being married to this faithful wife to the end or the Marine standing next to the casket watching over them both.

Betty White raps with techno dance artist Luciana, in their new music video “I’m Still Hot”. You’ll see break dancing, muscle boys and a boa constrictor all working for a good cause – A portion of the net proceeds benefit the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.

Last night, Dave Aude joined Betty White and Queen of Electro-pop, Luciana, at The Abbey in West Hollywood for the premiere of the new video for “I’m Still Hot” (co-written and produced by Dave Audé – sung by Luciana, featuring Betty White). The single has already gone to #1 on the Billboard Dance chart and this new version will benefit Ms. White’s favorite organization, The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association. TN Lawmaker who pushed for guns in bars arrested for drunk driving – with loaded gun in car
Tennessee state Rep. Curry Todd, a lead sponsor of a law allowing handgun carry permit holders to bring guns into bars, has been arrested on charges of drunken driving and possession of a gun while under the influence.
Police say in court documents that the Collierville Republican was pulled over in Nashville late Tuesday. He allegedly failed a roadside sobriety test and refused to take a breathalyzer. A loaded Smith & Wesson 38 Special was found in a holster stuffed between the driver seat and the center console.
Now – is everyone happy he had a gun while drunk???
