Simon Cowell robbed after one night stand
From TMZ: Simon Cowell has learned the hard way not to sleep with strangers, because when he woke up he realized he had been robbed of a computer that contained X Factor secrets.
TMZ has confirmed last October, Simon hooked up with a girl he met at Drai’s nightclub in Hollywood. He took her home, but the next morning she was gone and so was his computer and his wallet loaded with cash.
Simon — who has his Beverly Hills mansion wired for security — called the cops. The footage showed the woman, cops tracked her down and she handed over the computer and the wallet sans cash.

Rosie O’Donnell handles homophobic street preacher
In a YouTube clip that was allegedly shot during the Super Bowl but is now making the rounds online, Rosie O’Donnel being taunted by a homophobic street “preacher” — he calls her a “lesbian pig,” an “ungodly wicked woman” who is on her “way to hell” — and she briefly interacts with him in her own brand of “Rosie talk.”
What pushes her over the edge? When he says, “You need to go home and do the dishes—that’s your job.” So, she responds: “I’m going to go home and f*ck my wife.”

Book: YOU HAVE NO IDEA by Vanessa Williams and Helen Williams
Make sure you catch Vanessa Williams and her mother Helen on NIGHTLINE tonight as they talk about their new book “You Have No Idea.”
YOU HAVE NO IDEA is the highly anticipated first book from award winning singer and actress Vanessa Williams and her mother Helen.
Vanessa and Helen discuss it all: from becoming the first black Miss America in 1983 and the controversy that followed, to her debut and success on Broadway, and her resurgence in recent years on network television in Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives. Vanessa has proven she has serious staying power, and as readers will learn, that survivor mentality and resilience is inherited from her mother, Helen.
No stone is left unturned. Filled with personal family photos and mementos, YOU HAVE NO IDEA is an empowering celebration of the love between a mother and daughter and the lives, thus far, of two women who have consistently defied the odds to achieve success—no matter how uncertain their paths might have been.
As readers of The Randy Report know, Vanessa and I went to college together and we’ve been good friends ever since. With all the fantastic success she’s experienced in every medium you can imagine, she has remained the same down to earth, comfortable friend to me and all of us who know her. She’s really wonderful, and so is her mother Helen, who I met during the first year Vanessa and I were at Syracuse University. Helen loves to tell it like it is. Both are great fun.
I really encourage everyone to read the new book. It’s sure to entertain and touch you. The book is available today – April 17th – everywhere!
Senate GOP blocks “Buffett Rule” debate
A proposal to implement the Buffett Rule was blocked in the Senate on Monday, but proponents of the millionaire tax vowed to keep the issue alive in the months ahead.
Republicans, as expected, garnered enough support to reject Democrats’ attempt to bring up the proposal for debate. The Democrats fell nine votes short with 51 votes to debate the bill and 45 against. Sixty votes are needed in the Senate to open debate.
A CNN/ORC poll conducted over the weekend found that 72% of Americans support the idea of setting a minimum tax rate for people who make more than $1 million a year. Of those, 90% of Democrats, 69% of independents and 53% of Republicans back such a millionaire tax.
