Some memes that caught my eye and either made me think or laugh.
Indie rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise recently dropped their new album, bones, featuring a visualizer of the new track “Tropics” from their sold-out show at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheater last month.

There won’t be a September jobs report released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics today thanks to the shutdown of the federal government.
But we do have the ADP National Employment Report, which shows the U.S. lost 32,000 private sector jobs in September. Experts had predicted a gain of about 50,000 jobs.

With just hours before a federal government shutdown, Donald Trump shared a racist AI-generated video which appears to depict House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries wearing a sombrero and a mustache and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer speaking via an AI-generated voice. The adult performer known as Austin Wolf, real name Justin Heath Smith, was sentenced to 19 years in prison today after pleading guilty to enticement of a minor to engage in a sex act, according to a press release from the Justice Department.
