‘George Michael: Freedom Uncut’ Gets Premiere Date

George Michael: Freedom Uncut, a feature-length documentary, is the final project the late star worked on. Directed and narrated by the international superstar himself, the film will be available globally on Wednesday, June 22. The singer passed away at his home on Christmas day in 2016 as a result of combined heart and liver problems. He was 53.

David Austin, who directed the film along with George says, “The film is George’s final work. Narrated by George himself, it is the complete story.”

Featuring an array of contributors, including Stevie Wonder, Sir Elton John, Mark Ronson, and Naomi Campbell, the autobiographical feature film will look at the Grammy award winner’s life and include never-before-seen and personal archival footage.
