• The Advocate: The first recorded victim of 9/11 was a gay Catholic priest. Father Mychal Judge (above) served firefighters, AIDS patients, homeless people, and LGBTQ+ Catholics before walking into the North Tower on September 11, 2001.
Father Judge was also my hubby Michael’s priest when he was growing up in New Jersey.

• LGBTQ Nation: A lesbian police officer in New Jersey has filed a lawsuit saying male officers sexually harassed her & withheld support when she needed it most.
• X: Michigan Senate candidate Dr. Abdul El-Sayed had the right answer to a question about gender-affirming care.

• Washington Sun: The contractor who renovated the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool told the Trump administration that errors in its own work — not vandalism — had caused the pool’s blue liner to tear and break loose. Workers mistakenly layered two incompatible chemicals that caused paint on the pool liner to blister and peel.
• CSPAN: A 9/11 widow demanded Trump stop shielding Saudis for their role in the World Trade Center attacks. It’s worth noting Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, has a $2 billion deal with the Saudi wealth fund.
