• CBS Mornings: CBS reporter Tom Hanson threw a flex during a live report after Gayle King noted his impressive biceps – “Suns out, guns out. You want to give us a muscle?” The flex happens around the 2:30 mark. Fun morning moment.
• The Advocate: Police say a Colorado man shot at a gay couple in a road rage incident. One victim told police the shooter hurled antigay slurs before shooting his husband in the head.

• Vogue: Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts and Evan Peters are back as some of their most iconic American Horror Story characters in a long-awaited first look at Season 13 (set to premiere September 24 on FX and Hulu).

• Axios: The consulting group looking at renovation options for the Kennedy Center board came up with two options. The first would partially close the building in phases and cost $560 million, more than double the $257 million Congress already approved. The other option is to close the main building for two years. #Boo
• X: Mike Rogers, the GOP candidate for U.S. Senate in Michigan, called the Dem candidate, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, un-American saying he hates football and the 4th of July (he doesn’t). So, El-Sayed offered to meet him on the football field since Rogers refuses to debate him on a stage. #FTW
