• LGBTQ Nation: The veteran NPR journalist who broke the story of out serial liar George Santos being investigated for insider trading, says Santos threatened him in a phone call predicting “a gun in your face” for reporting the investigation.

• Detroit News: Donald Trump has indicated he will not nominate mortgage regulator Bill Pulte to be the nation’s intelligence chief once his temporary appointment expires early next year following huge backlash against the idea due to Pulte’s complete lack of experience in national security and intelligence.
• Axios: The U.S. economy added 172,000 jobs in May, while the unemployment rate held at 4.3%, the government said Friday. The Bureau of Labor Statistics said payroll numbers for March and April were revised upward a combined 93,000 higher than initially estimated.
