• Gayety: Netflix has released the first look at its upcoming documentary series KYLIE, a three-part deep dive into the life and legacy of global pop star Kylie Minogue (above). The series chronicles her rise from Australian television to international charts. No release date announced as yet.

• Erin in the Morning: Texas Tech University has not only banned professors from discussing LGBTQ+ topics in core and lower-level courses, but graduate students will be permanently barred from writing theses or dissertations centered on LGBTQ+ topics.
1. In a draconian new policy, Texas Tech is banning writing about LGBTQ+ topics.
The ban is the first don’t say gay or trans policy to apply to students themselves.
It applies to any thesis/dissertation moving forward.
They are using AI to scan everything.

• Washington Post: Just months after the Pentagon declared the U.S. military newspaper Stars and Stripes is “woke,” the publication’s ombudsman – a role charged by Congress with safeguarding the paper’s editorial independence – has been fired.
• ABC News: A special forces soldier who was directly involved in the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has been arrested for placing bets via the prediction market Polymarket that Maduro would be removed from office — just hours before his capture was announced. He reportedly pocketed more than $409,000 from his “wagers” based on what his own insider info.
