• OUT: Fresh off his SNL hosting stint, Connor Storrie (Heated Rivalry) stars in this clever slasher-horror parody for Verizon in the cheekily titled “Look Behind You.”
• NPR: The Erie County medical examiner says a refugee who was nearly blind and did not understand English died of a stress-related ulcer and hypothermia after ICE agents dropped him off at a closed coffee shop. His death has been deemed a homicide.
• Erin in the Morning: The Department of Justice is suing the state of Minnesota to force an anti-trans school bathroom and sports ban. Because, of course…
1. Yesterday, dozens of major political outlets reported that Trump is suing Minnesota to enact a trans sports ban.
What few of them reported was that Trump is also demanding bathroom bans in schools there as well.

• New York Times: Senate and House Republican leaders announced on Wednesday an agreement to move forward with legislation to reopen the Department of Homeland Security, resurrecting the same bipartisan deal that Donald Trump and the House GOP had angrily rejected last week.
• The Hill: A district court in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday permanently blocked Trump’s ridiculous executive order to cease funding for NPR and PBS calling it “unlawful” and “unconstitutional.”
• CBS News: I was definitely watching the spectacular lift-off of the Artemis II as it heads on a 10-day trip around the moon. It’s the first time the U.S. has sent astronauts to the moon in more than five decades.
