Some news stories for you as we head into the weekend:
• Variety: Bad Bunny has released a trailer for his upcoming appearance at Super Bowl LX featuring a series of dancers of all different ages and cultures. At one point, he dances with a young man in a football jersey, then a man in jeans, a white tee and a Stetson doing a full-on cowboy dance. Toward the end of the clip, Bad Bunny even dips that man.
• The Advocate: Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) took to the House floor this week to honor women whose lives reflected leadership, resilience, and public good. Instead, the temporary Speaker of the House introduced her as “the gentleman from Delaware.” Seriously, why the assholery…?
• LGBTQ Nation: Oak Lawn United Methodist Church in Dallas received formal approval from the city’s Landmark Commission last week after officials, members, and volunteers painted the church’s staircase the colors of the rainbow in October.
The church is responding after a nearby Pride crosswalk was forcibly removed.

• OUT: Colton Underwood, former Bachelor and current contestant on The Traitors, shares why he chose to return to reality TV: “I was ready for it, and I have a support system now.”
• Politico: Democrat Abigail Spanberger was sworn into office Saturday as Virginia’s first female governor outside the state Capitol after centuries of men holding the state’s top office. Two other Democrats were also sworn in. Ghazala F. Hashmi, the first Muslim woman to serve in statewide office in the U.S., is the new lieutenant governor. Jay Jones is Virginia’s first Black attorney general.

• CNN: A new CNN poll shows a majority of Americans say Trump is focused on the wrong priorities and doing too little to address cost of living. A majority, 58%, calls the first year of Trump’s term a failure.
• X: A day after Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado gifted Trump with her Nobel Peace Prize, Trump clearly can’t remember her name.
