Back in 2015 she refused to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples resulting in jail time and being ordered to pay over $360K in penalties and legal fees. • Podcast: Celeb Savant’s Barret Edelstein chats with out music star Bright Light Bright Light about his “happy accident” of a career in music plus his new album, Enjoy Youth. • Instinct Magazine: There was a huge turnout in support of VP Kamala Harris at the sprawling retirement community The Villages in Florida today. It’s worth nothing The Villages (in Florida’s 11th Congressional District) has long been known as a Republican stronghold. • Reuters: The opening ceremony for the Paris Olympics drew 28.6 million US viewers, the most since 2012.
