The day after a disappointing debate performance on CNN, President Joe Biden gave an energized, rousing speech to a clearly enthusiastic crowd in Raleigh, North Carolina.
“I know I’m not a young man, to state the obvious. I don’t walk as easy as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to.”
“But I know what I do know: I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong.
“And I know how to do this job. I know how to get things done. And I know like millions of Americans know, when you get knocked down you get back up.”

THIS is what America needed to see last night. Social media pundits, noting the obvious difference between last night and today, say Joe was energized by the crowd today. Others are noting the reports of Biden feeling the effects of a cold last night and obviously feeling better today. With many remembering that President Barack Obama had a bad first debate opposite Mitt Romney back in 2012, Obama chimed in today regarding his former vice president’s performance last night.
