George Santos Does Not Fare Well In Disastrous CNN Interview

Truth-challenged out Rep. George Santos (R-NY) found himself unable to answer a single question about his many public lies after CNN anchor Erin Burnett played a compilation of clips that led to Santos being investigated by a House Ethics Panel. Then there’s the 13-count indictment he’s facing, including charges of fraud and misusing campaign funds. From The Daily Beast:

“Erin, you know what would be great? I’m not deflecting, but I’m just going to call you out here and CNN. Have you brought Joe Biden on the network and spoken about all the things he’s said across the last 46 years?” said Santos.

Burnett countered by mentioning the president was “completely irrelevant” to her question—and that he had been informed prior to the interview that she planned to ask a variety of questions about his past statements and political fortunes.
