Adam Rich (Eight Is Enough) Has Died At 54

Adam Rich, who found fame as the youngest Bradford family member, Nicholas, on the TV drama “Eight Is Enough,” has died at the age of 54. According to TMZ, Rich died Saturday at his Los Angeles home. No cause of death has been revealed but law enforcement sources say Rich was discovered in his home lifeless. No evidence of foul play has been announced. https://youtu.be/-Bs1s77X91Y More from TMZ:

Adam played Nicholas Bradford, the youngest son on “Eight Is Enough.” The series ran from 1977-1981.

He had other credits as well, including “Code Red” in 1981 and “Dungeons & Dragons” in 1983.

Adam made VH1’s list of the greatest 100 kid stars, coming in at #73.

He retreated from show business in the ’80s because he said he did not like the glare of the spotlight or, for that matter, anything celebrity-related.

TMZ notes that, sadly, Rich had experienced substance abuse issues culminating in a 1991 arrest after he broke a pharmacy window in search of drug.
