• The Advocate: For 34 years, Broadway Bares has fought AIDS one striptease at a time. The famous fundraiser’s creator, Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, and the show’s dancers reflect on nearly 3 and a half decades of baring it all for a good cause.
Since 1992, Broadway Bares has raised over $31 million, which provides essential services across all 50 states.

• Out On Film: If you’re in Atlanta for Pride Month, check out Landmark Theatres’ Retro Replay Pride Series with screenings of iconic queer films including But I’m a Cheerleader, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Brokeback Mountain, and Moonlight. Out On Film will host talkbacks after select screenings.
• Pink News: Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, a bloody queer horror comedy, has premiered at the Cannes Film Festival to glowing, five-star reviews.
• The Hill: Donald Trump wants another 1,500 National Guard troops deployed to the streets of Washington part of a “summer surge” of law enforcement to the nation’s capital ahead of America’s 250th birthday.
• New Music: Singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Zolita kicks off a bold new era with her latest single, “Hell’s Belles,” a sapphic take on the ultimate bro country song, “Boys Round Here.”
The video is a campy, sexy thriller following a detective who goes undercover at a girls’ reform camp turned lesbian cult, only to fall for its charismatic leader.
