Burger King ‘Kevin’ Slaps Employee In Angry Rant

Austin Addison, of Butler County, Pennsylvania, is reportedly facing charges after he was caught on video slapping a Burger King worker across the face. The incident was recorded and the video has circulated widely on social media. Several reports say Addison entered the restaurant hyper-angry and looking for a female employee who he apparently knew. The clip begins mid-incident up with Addison screaming about an employee who ‘can’t count except for robbery and stealing stuff.’ Along the way, he threatens to somehow get the employee put in jail for ‘the rest of her life.’ For some unknown reason, the poor guy behind the counter, in trying to calm Addison down, gets slapped.

He was later picked up and charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment. From Heavy.com:

Court documents, available online on the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania website, show the incident at Burger King happened on June 26. A complaint was filed on July 8 and Addison was arrested on July 30. Records show he was released on his own recognizance, meaning he did not need to pay bail or post bond.

The criminal mischief charge is a second-degree misdemeanor, which in Pennsylvania, carries a possible punishment of up to two years behind bars and a fine up to $5,000 if convicted. Addison’s arraignment hearing was scheduled for September 22.

Curt James Brockway (mug shot)

A 39-year-old Montana man was arrested for a violent assault on a 13-year-old boy fracturing the teen’s skull.

Curt James Brockway reportedly told authorities “he had every right” to pick the boy up and slam him to the ground because, in his opinion, the teen had disrespected the national anthem by not removing his hat.

USA Today reports the boy had to be airlifted to a hospital due to the attack. His parent’s told the press he bled from his ears for nearly six hours.

Prosecutors asked Brockway’s bond be set at $100,000, but the judge allowed him to be released on his own recognizance.

Brockway is apparently registered as a violent offender with a police record going back to 2010.

Montana: Republican Congressional Candidate Greg Gianforte “Body Slams” Reporter

Greg Gianforte

UPDATE – Fox News was present at the incident and have corroborated Jacobs story:

As the time for the interview neared, Gianforte came into the room. We exchanged pleasantries and made small talk about restaurants and Bozeman.

During that conversation, another man — who we now know is Ben Jacobs of The Guardian — walked into the room with a voice recorder, put it up to Gianforte’s face and began asking if he had a response to the newly released Congressional Budget Office report on the American Health Care Act. Gianforte told him he would get to him later. Jacobs persisted with his question. Gianforte told him to talk to his press guy, Shane Scanlon.

At that point, Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him. Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the reporter. As Gianforte moved on top of Jacobs, he began yelling something to the effect of, “I’m sick and tired of this!”

Jacobs scrambled to his knees and said something about his glasses being broken. He asked Faith, Keith and myself for our names. In shock, we did not answer. Jacobs then said he wanted the police called and went to leave. Gianforte looked at the three of us and repeatedly apologized. At that point, I told him and Scanlon, who was now present, that we needed a moment. The men then left.

Montana’s Republican candidate for Congress, millionaire Greg Gianforte, appears to have anger management issues as tonight’s news cycle is roiled by the story that he allegedly body-slammed a reporter for The Guardian just one day before the special election.

From The Guardian:

Ben Jacobs, a Guardian political reporter, was asking Greg Gianforte, a tech millionaire running for the seat vacated by Ryan Zinke, about the Republican healthcare plan when the candidate allegedly “body-slammed” the reporter.

“He took me to the ground,” Jacobs said by phone from the back of an ambulance. “This is the strangest thing that has ever happened to me in reporting on politics.” Jacobs subsequently reported the incident to the police. Gianforte’s campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Audio of the abortive interview recorded by Jacobs captures the altercation, and appears to reference previous questioning from another Guardian reporter. “I’m sick and tired of you guys,” Gianforte said. “The last guy who came here did the same thing. Get the hell out of here. Get the hell out of here. The last guy did the same thing. Are you with the Guardian?”

No one from the Gianforte campaign has responded to questions about the incident.

Jacob’s recorder was on during the alleged assault. Listen to audio of the assault below.

NYC: Dallas BBQ Chair-Basher Identified

New York police say they have identified the suspect in an attack earlier this month inside a Manhattan restaurant in which a same-sex couple was bashed over the head with a wooden chair.

According to reports, the NYPD has identified El-Amin Bayna as the “chair-bashing attacker” at the Chelsea location of Dallas BBQ. At this time, however, they have not been able to take him into custody, reports WABC-TV.

From  LGBTQ Nation:

Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said El-Amin “is a career criminal” and that NYPD believes he has fled the state.

The attack on Ethan York-Adams, 25, and Jonathan Snipes, 32, occured May 5 inside the Dallas BBQ restaurant in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood, where the victims had gone to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

While at the restaurant, Snipes got a text about a death in his family and needed to leave the restaurant quickly, he said. As he headed out, he accidentally knocked over a drink, he said.

“A table near us audibly started making pretty gross comments about the two of us like, ‘White faggots, spilling drinks,’” Snipes said.

Snipes said he confronted the men at the table when the attacker stood up and escalated the verbal confrontation.

“He turned it into a physical altercation very quickly,” he added.

Witness Isaam Sharef caught the attack on video and posted it to YouTube and Instagram. The video shows Snipes being flung to the floor and kicked as others screamed, “Stop!”

WCBS-TV reports that El-Amin has 15 prior arrests including Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan and New Jersey. Most of the arrests are for assault and drug possession.

Whatever started the fight, it had clearly ended with the couple walking away when Bayna makes his punk move. The chair bashing is disturbingly violent. Watch below.

Missouri: Self-described “Killer” cop suspended after violent, anti-gay remarks come to light

CNN reports that the police officer who shoved news anchor Don Lemon on the air earlier this week has been suspended after wild remarks regarding violence, the President, the Supreme Court and Muslims came to light.

A Missouri police officer involved in maintaining security in troubled Ferguson was put on administrative leave Friday after a video surfaced showing him railing about the Supreme Court, Muslims, and his past — and perhaps, he said, his future — as “a killer.” The officer, Dan Page of the St. Louis County Police Department, became something of a familiar face to many earlier this month when video showed him pushing back CNN’s Don Lemon and others in a group in Ferguson. At the time, CNN was reporting on the large-scale and at times violent protests calling for the arrest of a white Ferguson police officer who shot and killed African-American teenager Michael Brown.

In his rambling remarks on the video, he talks about what he describes as a draft replacement for the U.S. Constitution, the “four sodomites on the Supreme Court,” and a visit to Kenya “to our undocumented President’s home.” He refers to Barack Obama as “that illegal alien who claims to be our President.” Page frequently references violence, including nine combat tours in the Army, during which he did “my fair share of killing.” Speaking about Muslims, he says pointedly: “They will kill you.” On domestic disputes, he opines: “You don’t like each other that much, just kill each other and get it over with. Problem solved. Get it done.” On urban violence, he predicts that “when the inner cities start to ignite, people are going to start killing people they don’t like.”

And lastly, Page says, “I personally believe the Lord Jesus Christ is my savior, but I’m also a killer. I’ve killed a lot and, if I need to, I will kill a whole bunch more. If you don’t want to get killed, don’t show up in front of me.” Belmar, the head of the St. Louis County police department, said all the talk about killing was especially disturbing to him. “As a police chief, that’s something I’m not going to be able to endure,” Belmar said.

In addition to Page, a second Missouri officer, Matthew Pappert, was suspended for inflammatory comments made on social media which included “These protestors should have been put down like a rabid dog the first night.”

I believe in these officers having the right to free speech, but it’s seriously disconcerting to hear that peace officers with guns are talking about killing and putting protestors “down.”
