Ukraine Open To 30-Day Cease-Fire With Russia
Ukrainian officials have announced they would support a 30-day cease-fire with Russia following more than 8 hours of meetings in Saudi Arabia with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Michael Waltz, U.S. national security adviser. Report: Ukraine & U.S. Agree To Framework For Minerals Deal
Two sources tell the Washington Post that the U.S. and Ukraine have agreed to a framework for a minerals deal wherein Ukraine would jointly develop their mineral resources (including oil and gas) with help from the U.S. The new deal would reportedly allow 50% of future proceeds from new mineral projects to go into a fund controlled by the U.S. but for only investing in Ukrainian projects.
