Sarah Palin Blames President Obama For Her Son’s Domestic Abuse Arrest

It’s so much fun having former half-term Gov. Sarah Palin in the news again. Bloggers rejoice!

Today, for example, Palin addressed the recent domestic abuse arrest of her son, Track.

As Palin tells it, Track suffers from PTSD from his time in Iraq, which is all President Obama’s fault.

NBC News reports:

Sarah Palin suggested Wednesday that her son’s arrest on domestic violence charges this week stemmed from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and – in part – the president’s lack of “respect” for veterans.

Addressing what she called “the elephant in the room” during a rally in support of Donald Trump, Palin said her son Track came back “different” from his year-long deployment in Iraq.

“My son, like so many others, they come back a bit different, they come back hardened, they come back wondering if there is that respect for what it is that their fellow soldiers and airmen every other member of the military so sacrificially have given to this country,” she said after alluding to the arrest.

“It starts from the top. The question though it comes from our own president, when they have to look at him and wonder, do you know what we go through, do you know what we’re trying to do to secure America and to secure the freedoms that have been bequeathed us?” she added. “So when my own son is going through what he goes through, coming back, I can certainly relate with other families who feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with.”

According to police reports, Track Palin punched and kicked his girlfriend, threatened suicide by putting an AR-15 to his head and taunted her yelling “do you think I’m a pussy?” and “do you think I won’t do it?”

Between her daughter, who’s had two children out of wedlock while preaching abstinence, and a son who beats his girlfriend while allegedly drunk, I think it takes some big stones to blame someone else for your children’s shortcomings.

Clean your own house, Ms. Palin, before you blame others.

Sarah Palin’s Son Gets “Off Track” Charged With Assault And Domestic Violence

Ah, you’ve got to love “family values.”

Even as Sarah Palin, former half-term governor of Alaska, endorses Donald Trump for president, her family continues to offer tabloid fodder.

This time it’s her 26 year old son, Track Palin, who grabs the spotlight with domestic violence and weapons charges.

Per online court records, Track Palin, 26, was charged yesterday with assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), interfering with a report of domestic violence, and possession of a weapon while intoxicated. All three charges are misdemeanors.

The Wasilla PD issued the following press release regarding the incident:

On 01/18/2016 at approximately 2204 hours, Wasilla Police responded to a residence for a disturbance. An investigation revealed Track Palin had committed a domestic violence assault on a female, interfered with her ability to report a crime of domestic violence, and possessed a firearm while intoxicated. Palin was arrested and charges of assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), interfering with a domestic violence report, and misconduct involving weapons in the fourth degree were forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office. Palin was held without bail until arraignment.
