Gun Nut Shoots At Employee When Asked To Wear Mask, Apprehended In Police Shootout

On Friday, an unhinged gun nut pulled out a gun and fired at a cigar store employee in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The man was apparently enraged at being asked to wear a face mask in the store due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The state currently requires face masks while in public. The man – Adam Zaborowski, 35, of Slatington, Pennsylvania – was apprehended on Sunday and has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery, and reckless endangerment. From Philadelphia’s ABC News affiliate:

According to authorities, around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, an officer from the Slatington Borough Police Department and troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police Bethlehem barracks attempted to make a traffic stop at the intersection of East Washington and 2nd Streets in Slatington.

State police said the driver of the vehicle, identified as Zaborowski, exited his vehicle and began shooting at police, striking a Slatington Borough patrol vehicle.

Both the Slatington Borough officer and the state troopers returned fire and struck Zaborowski, police said. They then administered first aid to Zaborowski.

Christian rapper Bizzle steals “Same Love” for anti-gay version

Christian rapper Bizzle has taken an instrumental version of Macklemore’s “Same Love” and written his own anti-gay version of the song. Here’s just some of the “Christian” lyrics:

On comparing the African American civil rights movement to the gay civil rights movement:

You rather fight God than fight sin / The Bible is alright until it calls what you like sin / And I feel so disrespected that you were so desperate / You would compare your sexual habits to my skin / Calling it ‘the new black?’ Tell me, where they do that? / They hung us like tree ornaments, where were you at? / They burned us for entertainment, you go through that?” / Moms raped in front of their kids while they shoot dad / Ever been murdered just for trying to learn how to read, bro? / Show of hands? I didn’t think so / So quit comparing the two it ain’t the same fight / You can play straight. We can never play white.

Compares gays to pedophiles:

You were never oppressed. The devil was a liar / The only thing oppressed was your sexual desire / Keeping your desires oppressed is so lame to you / But when you get married that’s what you expect your mate to do / It angers you if I compare you to a pedophile / Because he’s sick, right, and you’re better, how?

Bizzle says he’s not “hating” just disagreeing:

It’s funny how the media portays things / They really pushing hard for this gay thing / And it’s so wicked how they manipulate things / Can’t even disagree without them making it a hate thing /

My take is – if Bizzle is so smart and talented, why’s he gotta take someone else’s song and riff on that?  Why’s he gotta steal?  (By the way, what does the Bible say about stealing?) Can’t be interesting on his own?
