Donald Trump’s Staffers Love To Post Racist/Anti-Muslim Content To Social Media

A look into the social media accounts of 50 present and former Donald Trump staffers by the Associated Press reveals numerous racist and anti-Muslim posts including Muslims being unfit to be U.S. citizens, mocking Mexican accents, black on white violence and more inflammatory content.

The AP examined the social media feeds of more than 50 current and former campaign employees who helped propel Trump through the primary elections. The campaign has employed a mix of veteran political operatives and outsiders. Most come across as dedicated, enthusiastic partisans, but at least seven expressed views that were overtly racially charged, supportive of violent actions or broadly hostile to Muslims.

A graphic designer for Trump’s advance team approvingly posted video of a black man eating fried chicken and criticizing fellow blacks for ignorance, irresponsibility and having too many children. A Trump field organizer in Virginia declared that Muslims were seeking to impose Sharia law in America and that “those who understand Islam for what it is are gearing up for the fight.”

The AP’s findings come at a time when Trump is showing new interest in appealing to minority voters, insisting he will be fair in dealing with the 11 million people in the U.S. illegally and explicitly pitching himself to African-Americans, saying “what do you have to lose?”

The AP also reviewed the public social media accounts of more than three dozen employees of Hillary Clinton’s far larger campaign staff and found nothing as inflammatory. One staffer said Trump’s style of speaking reminded him of a roommate who had taken too many hallucinogenic mushrooms. AP also reviewed images attached to more than 19,000 stolen internal emails from the Democratic National Committee for racially or religiously inflammatory memes, finding nothing of note.

While the AP has sent several requests for comment on the social media posts over the past month, no response has been forthcoming.

Michael Buble Accused Of “Body Shaming” With Anonymous Butt Pic

(via Facebook)

This is kinda crazy.

Pop star Michael Buble is catching heat because he posted this picture (taken by his wife) to his social media saying “There was something about this photo lu took ,that seemed worthy of instagram.
#myhumps #babygotback #hungryshorts #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum”

Folks quickly attacked Buble saying he was “body shaming” the woman, or objectifying her because the lower part of her lower part was partially visible.

Get a grip, kids.

First of all, the woman chose to wear the shorts in public. I gather, since she’s an adult, that she knows how she’s dressed. If she has no problem going out in public wearing shorts that show half her butt, then she must not have a problem with being seen.

Second, her face isn’t visible so she’s anonymous. There’s no shaming happening here.

Third, it’s a tame compliment. He writes #beautifulbum. He didn’t call her ugly or fat or unattractive.

Fourth, go back to number two. No one can see her face! Can you be “shamed” if you don’t know it happened and no one knows who you are?

I invite you to post your thoughts below. I’m curious if I’m really missing this or not.

Nashville: Morton’s Steakhouse in social media firestorm over alledged treatment of cancer victim

Morton’s Steakhouse in Nashville has a big problem on their hands over asking a cancer victim with cold sensitivity due to undergoing chemotherapy to remove his wool beanie. From FOX 17:

The diners say their friend was asked to remove his hat, and explained the situation to the manager, who allegedly said that the gentleman should bring a doctor’s note or call ahead so that he could be seated in a private dining area.

Witnesses say the cancer patient along with his wife and kids became very upset over how the situation was handled and they stormed out to leave. The police even arrived. The incident has created a firestorm on social media.

One witnesses account posted on Facebook has been shared nearly 6,000 times already. Dozens of people have commented on sites like Facebook and Yelp. One witness named Ashly posted this on Yelp. I will never step foot in this establishment along with everyone else who was a part of our party. And we will spread the word of this terrible treatment until an apology is received. Unacceptable to say the least.

Morton’s responded on their Facebook page say, “Morton’s fans: We are aware of the situation that happened at our Nashville location over the weekend. We appreciate you all bringing it to our attention, and we have reached out to the parties involved and can assure you that all facts will be uncovered.”

FOX 17 News has talked with the victim who says that the restaurant has not contacted him.

As a cancer survivor myself I can attest to how chemo can make you very sensitive to cold temperatures. I could barely walk down a frozen food aisle at the grocery store during my treatment.

Sad that an assistant manager couldn’t use common sense and compassion in a delicate moment.

Here’s just one of several comments on Yelp about the incident.
