Ryan Gosling considers taking a break from acting
Ryan tells the Associated Press that after he promotes all the movies he’s already made, he’s considering taking a break from acting:
“I’ve been doing it too much. I’ve lost perspective on what I’m doing. I think it’s good for me to take a break and reassess why I’m doing it and how I’m doing it. And I think this is probably a good way to learn about that. I need a break from myself as much as I imagine the audience does.
The more opportunities I’m given, the more I learn about how easy it is to (expletive) it up. You fight for freedom and then you get it, and then you have enough rope to hang yourself. It’s like trying to exercise some restraint because I do have so much freedom.”
I know it’s easy to dismiss a handsome face (and body) but I do enjoy Gosling’s work. We’ll see if his thoughts on “hitting pause” come to fruition.
Shia LeBeouf is now ‘Shia the Buff’
Peter Quillin tweeted this photo of actor Shia LaBeouf yesterday: “My new homie Shia @thecampiagnbook LeBeouf is really buffed (pause) @ Trinity Boxing Club”
THIS is Shia back in the “Even Stevens” days…
Duncan James tweets shirtless from the gym
Duncan James, of the British boyband Blue, tweeted this pic from the gym:
Mr. James likes to tweet shirtless pics of himself. And to be honest, if I looked like Duncan I’d be tweeting shirtless pics, too.
Blue has a new album, Roulette, set to be released on April 15 and is available for pre-order on iTunes March 28. First single – “Hurt Lovers” – should be out in May.
The band is scheduled to appear on the UK TV show “The Big Reunion” this week, and will be taking part in The Big Reunion Tour this spring.

Comic book heroes and villains – their private sides
“Heroes/Villains” is the sexy, silly, and awesome photography series from Atlanta artist Philip Bonneau, who describes it on his website as a collection of images “based around adults reconnecting with their childhood and remembering what it was like to pretend.”
Featuring some shirtless, half-naked heroes and villains from the comic book world, Bonneau shows us some rarely seen sides of some of our favorites. Here are just a few of my favorites (heroes all, of course). Make sure you check out more on Gay.net, and head over to Philip’s website.
Batbear and Robin may be my favorite. Thoughts?

Out boybander Duncan James (from BLUE) likes Instagram a lot.
Which is cool with me. If I had his abs, I’d be Instagram-ing all the time too 🙂

98 Degrees: We’ll give the fans what they want
Thousands of fans are looking forward to this summer’s “The Package” Tour featuring 98 Degrees, NKOTB and Boys II Men. And now comes the news that not only are they reuniting for the tour, but 98 Degrees is in the studio making new music.
But don’t worry fans – Jeff Timmons, founding member of 98 Degrees, promises the fans will get the goods they are looking for. From People Magazine:
Timmons adds that the group isn’t resting on their laurels, they’re back in the studio, working on new music. “We’ve all developed different sounds,” he added. “I’m more R&B. A couple of the other guys are more pop. So it’s fun to put us together and see what we come up with.”
But they’ll still perform many of their old songs this summer when they embark on The Package Tour, a joint tour with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men.
“That’s what people remember us for,” Timmons said. “I think our most popular song is ‘I Do,’ which still gets played at weddings. But people also like ‘The Hardest Thing.’ We’ll definitely give them what they want.”
I, for one, am glad to see the guys back together. I loved their music back in the 90s and still do. Great vocals all around.
For the upcoming tour, though, I hope Jeff plans to give the fans not only the music that the fans want, but also at least a hint of the beef cake I know the fans also admire about the guys of 98 Degrees. Here’s a just sample – if you’ve got a Porsche, kids, you don’t keep it in the garage…):
