Shirtless male strippers collect money on ELLEN to predict the World Series

Ellen comes up with a “super-scientific” way to predict the winner of the World Series between the San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals.

And I like it.

Whichever guys collects the most money in their shorts before the music ends will be the team to win the World Series.

Guess which team is predicted to win via Ellen’s “super-scientific” method?

Of course, as Ellen notes, we are all winners for watching.

p.s. all money raised during the bit goes towards breast cancer research. Go Ellen!

So, I had the TV on in the background during the new Meredith Vieira Show (very likable) and who comes charging out of the audience?

Four of the Chippendales celebrating their 35th Anniversary and the release of the new 2015 calendar.

Now, just look at the cover man, Sami Eskelin.  Keep looking.  Yes, he’s real.

I understand Sami’s now a “2-time” cover man for the Chipps calendar.  And why not when you look like that???

I mean, he’s seriously god-like.

If I could go back in time, and if I knew how to patent stuff, I’d have locked in the idea of the hunky-guy calendar.

Nick the Gardener Gets Audition for Magic Mike XXL

“Nick the shirtless Gardener” meets with Warner Brothers exec Greg Silverman

On Thursday’s episode of ELLEN, “Nick the Gardener” was hooked up with a “meet and greet” for a role in the upcoming MAGIC MIKE XXL.

On Friday, viewers got to see how the (shirtless) meeting went with Warner Brothers exec Greg Silverman. Things are looking good for Nick! Fingers crossed 🙂

Plus, as many noted the tattoo on Nick’s back, it turns out it’s a classic joke. And since it’s Classic Joke Friday, Ellen had to share the joke with the audience. That meant, of course, that Nick had to remove his shirt, once again…

Ellen Gets “Nick the Gardener” an Audition for Magic Mike Sequel

Upon hearing the news that Matthew McConaughey will not be returning for the Magic Mike sequel, Ellen has a great idea! Nick the Gardener!

So, she gets on the phone to Warner Brothers exec Greg Silverman and hooks “Nick” up with a screen test. You know that Ellen – give, give, give.

Oh, and it’s “Laundry Day” at the ELLEN show, so of course she needs him to give him his shirt.  No unnecessary naked action going on here.

Nick Reilich (real name) posted today, “Hey friends! After a few fun stops on Ellen, I’ve decided “Nick” needs his own page! I’ll be posting all my endeavours to this page in the future!”

Nick is a crucial part of the ELLEN show as he not only tends to the plants on set, but also submits jokes for Classic Joke Wednesdays.  Unfortunately, Classic Joke Wednesdays were cancelled as a segment this year.  Watch how upset Nick gets when told the bad news.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” tops BO for 4th weekend with $10.2 million

Chris Pratt of “Guardians of the Galaxy”

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” starring Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana, notched a 4th weekend at the top of the box office with $10.2 million, according to studio estimates.

That brings “Guardians” to a $294.6 domestically in six weeks of release.

The global total moves up to $586.2 million.
