Woman Who Yelled She Will Teach Her Grandchildren ‘To Hate’ Now Claims She ‘Blacked Out’

Kathy Jenkins waves a Confederate flag at a Black Lives Matter protest

Kathy Jenkins waves a Confederate flag at a Black Lives Matter protest A woman in Branson, Missouri, was captured on video at a Black Lives Matter protest earlier this week waving a Confederate flag and yelling at protesters “I will teach my grandkids to hate you all.” She also called out “KKK belief.” Kathy Jenkins told local news station KOLR10 that since the video went viral she’s lost her job (a punishment she says she deserves) and has left Branson, her home of six years. Jenkins claims, however, that she “blacked out” and doesn’t remember making those racist statements to BLM protesters assembled outside a store that sells Confederate merchandise. She does, however, say she remembers chanting along with the protesters “Black Lives Matter.” According to Jenkins, she was watching the protest from the other side of the street and was handed a Confederate flag. She says she thought it was a symbol of “unity.” Jenkins says in the video she was yelling at a pair of neighbors who were heckling her and calling her a racist for waving the flag. “I wasn’t saying I’m KKK or for the KKK,” she told KOLR10 reporter David Chasanov on Wednesday. “I was mocking them because I don’t like being called a racist.” “I’m so, so sorry,” Jenkins told KOLR10. “I mean, if it would help for me to stand with Black Lives Matter, I absolutely would do that.” “I didn’t understand that the Confederate flag meant hate,” said Jenkins. “I don’t understand the whole history of the Confederate flag, but I’m learning.” But Faith Pittser, one of the Black Lives Matter organizers, disagreed with that version of the story. She told the news station in a statement:

“She knew exactly what she was doing. She was there from the start on the counter-protesters’ side shouting obscenities and hateful words at our protesters. I think her claims to not know what the confederate flag is and what it represents are absurd and lies. She proudly shouted “KKK belief” in front of all of us.

“Her apology does not make sense as she’s trying to state she didn’t realize she was on the opposing side. How do you not realize that if you’re on Dixie Outfitter’s property holding a confederate flag along with the other counter-protesters that are facing us? She never once shouted ‘black lives matter’ along with us. This woman is lying and apologizing because she’s sorry she got caught in her acts of racism.”

Here’s the original video that went viral on Twitter. The clip has been viewed over 13 million times.

Racist Remark Gets Porn Performer Booted From JustForFans

Gay porn performer Billy Santoro gets canceled over racist comments (screen capture)
Gay porn performer Billy Santoro showed his fans exactly who he is on Monday night when he took to Facebook to encourage American police officers to shoot ‘black looters.’ Santoro’s post on his since-deleted Facebook page read, “Lol. America! Lol you let your blacks loot as a way of protest. Wake the fuck up. Shoot first.” #Hideous JustForFans.com, the adult entertainment subscription site where Santoro makes a living, summarily kicked Santoro off the platform announcing via Twitter: “And here we had a good day so I put my phone away to actually take a night off. And then I checked the phone to see all the messages. His account is gone. Policing is a slippery slope and we won’t be puppets to cancel culture. This was not debatable though. It was vile. BLM.” The site had already announced the addition of Black Lives Matter to its Charitable Giving Program. https://twitter.com/JustForFansSite/status/1267625732144091137?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1267625732144091137&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.towleroad.com%2F2020%2F06%2Fbilly-santoro%2F https://twitter.com/JustForFansSite/status/1267512884755603458

Santoro’s OnlyFans page was also apparently deleted as was the page of his husband, fellow porn performer Gage Santoro.

https://twitter.com/mstrpotatohead/status/1267779458209132548

Suffering a serious backlash, Billy took to Twitter to explain he had lost a friend during ‘the looting in philly’ and had ‘lashed out’ due to stress.

“A friend of mine was killed during the looting in philly and I lashed out full of emotional stress,” wrote Santoro. “Those who know me know I am not racist. I am hurt by the loss of my friend.”

That was quickly followed by a tweet ‘sincerely’ apologizing and noting the many people of color he has ‘fallen in love with.’ “I sincerely apologize for hurting the POC with my statement. I have fallen in love with many poc and understand the frustration.” https://twitter.com/BillySantoroXXX/status/1267671009621979136 https://twitter.com/BillySantoroXXX/status/1267673235916599296 But this wasn’t Santoro’s first racist comment. In fact, it wasn’t even the first racist comment of the day. The folks at Cocktails and Cocktalk screen captured a Twitter exchange where Santoro chimed in on a Wisconsin restaurant’s comment writing, “Or the blacks will just breed more hatred towards them.”

(via Cocktails and Cocktalk)
Just some of the backlash via Twitter: https://twitter.com/reizzla/status/1267861750763917312 https://twitter.com/FrostyOtterXXX/status/1267863696476385281 https://twitter.com/EastCoast2k9/status/1267602626314731521 The latest chapter in this sad tale comes as Gage tweeted (then-deleted) a plea to stop the attacks on Billy saying he’d attempted suicide ‘based on the hate he has received.’ Actor Johnny Sibilly wasn’t convinced.

Shooting Video Was Leaked By Friend Of McMichaels Thinking It Would Clear Them

Greg McMichaels and his son Travis were convicted of the murder of Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia

L-R Gregory McMichaels, Travis McMichaels (mug shots)
It turns out the video footage showing Gregory and Travis McMichaels shooting Ahmaud Arbery in the street was leaked by a friend believing it would clear them. The friend, attorney Alan Tucker, also put the blame for Arbery’s death on Arbery saying if he had ‘just froze’ he wouldn’t have been shot. From The Daily Mail:

The shocking video that showed two white men shooting unarmed black jogger Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia was leaked to the press by the assailants’ close friend who believed it would clear them of any crime.

Attorney Alan Tucker told Inside Edition Friday that he was responsible for releasing the footage, which showed his pals Gregory and Travis McMichael engaged in a fatal altercation with Arbery in Brunswick on February 23.

‘I really thought releasing the video would put the truth out to the public,’ Tucker stated.

‘If he [Arbery] had just froze and hadn’t done anything, then he wouldn’t have been shot.’

I see. Two white men in Georgia grab their guns, jump in their pickup truck and chase after a young black man jogging. They stop the young man waving their weapons and yelling at the young man. Not knowing who they were or what was happening, it was Arbery’s responsibility to just stand there and perhaps let them shoot him??? For over two months, there was little to no response by the local police authorities. It wasn’t until the video was released that public outcry made ignoring the case impossible. According to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Brunswick District Attorney Jackie Johnson blocked police from arresting them because she was friends with Gregory McMichael, who worked as an investigator in Johnson’s office. The McMichaels have now been charged with murder and aggravated assault. Gregory McMichaels reportedly told police he recognized Arbery as a burglary suspect in the neighborhood. But no break-ins were reported in the neighborhood for seven weeks before they killed him.

Georgia Men (Finally) Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Black Jogger

Ahmaud Arbery
From the Washington Post:

A Georgia father and son were arrested and charged with murder Thursday evening in the fatal shooting of Ahmaud Arbery amid intensifying pressure from across the political spectrum.

Footage of the young black man who was fatally shot by a white man in Georgia ignited outrage across the political spectrum, with former vice president Joe Biden comparing it to a lynching and Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) calling the shooting “absolutely horrific.”

President Trump, speaking at an event in the Oval Office on Thursday, said he expects to get a “full report” on the incident and called the death “a very sad thing.”

Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, spoke passionately about the incident during a virtual campaign roundtable focused on African American issues Thursday, telling participants that watching 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery “shot down in cold blood” was like seeing him “lynched before our very eyes.”

Arbery was killed in February while jogging in a residential neighborhood in Brunswick, Ga. Video of his brief interaction with at least two men who confronted him, seconds before the gunshots, was released on social media this week.

Gregory McMichael, 64, a retired police detective, and his son, Travis McMichael, 34, saw Arbery jogging and told police they believed he looked like a suspect in a series of neighborhood burglaries (although local journalists found just one burglary reported to police between Jan. 1 and Feb. 23). The two men grabbed a handgun and shotgun and began chasing Arbery in a truck, according to a police report. Gregory McMichael said he shouted to Arbery, “Stop, stop, we want to talk to you,” before pulling up in their truck. Approaching him with their guns, a physical altercation ensued that left Arbery dead. You can see the video below as well as a Twitter thread from Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), the only black Republican in the Senate.

White Supremacist Richard Spencer On Leaked Audio: ‘I Rule The F*cking World!’

White nationalist Richard Spencer

White nationalist Richard Spencer
Richard Spencer
Over the weekend, alt-right instigator Milo Yiannopolous posted an audio recording of ‘white nationalist’ Richard Spencer reacting to the death of 32-year-old Heather Meyer after the violent ‘Unite The Right’ hate rally in Charlottesville, North Carolina, in 2017. Spencer was an organizer of the event where one of his compatriots drove his car into a crowd of anti-nazi protesters killing Meyer. He made his way into the mainstream news by being ‘clean-cut’ and ‘well-dressed’ as opposed to appearing in his white hood. Spencer says, in response to Heyer being murdered in Charlottesville:

We are coming back here like a hundred fucking times. I am so mad. I am so mad at these fucking people. They don’t do this to fucking me. We’re going to ritualistically humiliate them. I am coming back here every fucking weekend if I have to. Like this is never over! I win! They fucking lose! That’s how the world fucking works.

Little fucking kikes. They get ruled by people like me. Little fucking octaroons. I rule the fucking world. Those pieces of shit get ruled by people like me. They look up and see a face like mine looking down at them. That’s how the fucking world works. We are going to destroy this fucking town.

The word octaroon, a hateful term for someone who is one-eighth black, is practically never used except in so-called ‘white nationalist’ circles. You’ll recall Donald Trump infamously defended people like Spencer declaring that there were “very fine people on both sides” at the rally. It’s interesting that Milo would leak the recording since it seemed he and Spencer were once friendly. With Milo’s financial woes hitting the news, perhaps he’s just trying to become relevant in some way…? Here’s the audio – get ready, folks, this is rough:

The YouTube post by Yiannopolous claims “the audio was recorded in Charlottesville at an ’emergency meeting’ Spencer assembled immediately after he learned of Heather Heyer’s death.” For a little more background on Spencer, here’s a deeper dive ABC News’ Nightline did in 2016. Featured in the report is a clip where Spencer led cheers for Donald Trump declaring, “Hail Trump!” as his followers threw Nazi salutes.

NYC Cop Pleads No Contest To Burglary, Using Racial Slurs

Michael Reynolds, a 25-year-old New York City police officer, is accused of breaking into the home of an African-American family and screaming racial slurs while on vacation in Nashville, Tennessee, this past summer. Reynolds has pleaded no contest to charges of aggravated burglary and three misdemeanor assault charges From NewsChannel 5 in Nashville:

Michael Reynolds, 25, pleaded no contest to his felony aggravated burglary charge and three misdemeanor assault charges.

The break-in happened around 2:30 a.m. on July 9th, 2018 at a 12 South home in Nashville.

The homeowner, Conese Halliburton, said she felt traumatized reliving the incident in court today. Reynolds was on vacation and staying at an Airbnb with friends one door down from Halliburton’s home, and police say he was under the influence of alcohol when he broke into the house.

“He knows what he did, it’s on video, there’s audio. There was people there so how can he not plead guilty and say this is what you did and stand up and be truthful. You’re an officer,” Halliburton said.

When the incident occurred, Halliburton told Metro officers Reynolds kicked in the door and started yelling at her and her two sons who had not went to bed yet. A surveillance camera captured part of the exchange and a man’s voice shouting, “Try to shoot me, I’ll break every bone in your f(expletive) neck. You f(expletive) n(expletive).”

Reynolds faces sentencing on November 7.

WaPo: Trump Was ‘Obsessed’ With GOP House Votes Against Him In Resolution

Donald Trump

From the size of the outrage in response to Donald Trump’s racist tweets telling four freshman congresswomen to “go back” to the “totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” many expected dozens of Republicans to break from Trump and vote with House Democrats in their resolution condemning his words.

But that didn’t really happen.

Today, the Washington Post reports on how the White House kept those numbers low as Trump was apparently “obsessed” with the vote tally.

From the Washington Post:

The White House vote-counters initially feared as many as 50 Republicans might defect to support the resolution, and Trump ordered an all-hands White House effort to keep the GOP caucus together. White House aides told allies on the Hill that it was okay to criticize Trump, as long as they didn’t vote with Democrats.

Trump was obsessed with the vote tally and received regular briefings. Aides fed him a constant stream of lawmaker reactions and put him on the phone with several lawmakers. He told his team to tell any wafflers that he loves America and that they needed to pick sides. Trump called McCarthy to cancel an immigration meeting planned at the White House on Tuesday.

“Stay there and fight,” he told McCarthy.

Vice President Pence also worked the phones, telling Republican members not to fall for a Democratic trap.

In the end, only four Republicans broke ranks.

The Donald predictably tweeted this morning that the Post’s article is, of course, ‘Fake News.’

Hideous Human Of The Day

A hideous woman literally spit and hurled racial slurs (you know which ones) at a black family in a Shop Rite in East Haven, Connecticut.

Wait until you see this. And she does all of it in front of her children.

And it appears the woman has been ‘separated’ from service at Hamden High. #good.

Covington Catholic HS Students Appear To Harass, Mock Native Americans In Washington DC

Trending on Twitter right now, a group of students, who some say are from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky, appear to mock & intimidate a Native American protestor at the Indigenous Peoples March yesterday in Washington, DC.

Appalling. This is why that Gillette ad exists.

On Covington’s Twitter account (which has been switched to private due to this video), the school describes itself as “Educating Young Men Spiritually, Academically, Physically and Socially.”

Does this kid look ‘spiritually’ educated?

The school’s online schedule shows students were in DC to participate in the March for Life. This episode apparently happened after they took part in that march.

Wisconsin High School Students Throw Full-On ‘Sig Heil’ In Prom Photo

Folks are kind of flummoxed by a photo taken at the junior prom of Wisconsin’s Baraboo High School showing the class’s male students doing a ‘sig heil.’

Law & Crime points out the event was last spring, but the photo just came to light when it was posted to the Twitter account @GoBaraboo that has since been been made private.

It was posted with the caption, “We even got the black kid to throw it up #BarabooProud.”

One guy in the front was clearly doing the sign for white power:

Vice contributor Jules Suzdaltsev asked Twitter to help him do a deep dive into the matter, and he began getting private messages from students at the school saying they had seen and heard a lot of racist language while attending the school.

One student who graduated from BHS this spring wrote Suzdaltsev saying he could “100% support the claims of racism at that school.”

“The use of the n-word was pretty common among a lot of white students, whether jokingly or not,” he added.

Another told Suzdaltsev that the day after Donald Trump was elected, students were yelling “White Power!” in the hallways.

Folks did note that one student, in the upper right hand corner of the photo, was clearly not having the moment.

Suzdaltsev spoke with the student, Jordan Blue, who said the photo was taken so quickly he couldn’t leave. But he also shared that he’d been bullied by his classmates for years.

“My name is Jordan Blue, I am the boy captured in the photo to the far right. The photo was taken during our Junior Prom Photos. I clearly am uncomfortable, with what was happening. I couldn’t leave the photo as it was taken within 5 seconds. The photographer took the photos telling us to make the sign, I knew what my morals were and it not to salute something I firmly didn’t believe in. I attend BHS, these classmates have bullied me since entering middle school, I have struggled with it my entire life and nothing has changed. These are the boy of Class of 2019, nothing has been done and my question is… with anything ever be done. I truly & firmly believe we need to make a change to this horrible act, it need to stop. Bullying. Immaturity. And just taking things as a “joke”…”

According to Suzdaltsev, the photographer (identified as local motorcycle photographer Peter Gust) has taken the photo album down from his website and issued an odd message calling out “malevolent behavior on the part of some in society.” He seems to be blaming the scandal on folks taking issue with the idea of telling students to do a Nazi salute.

The photo has even received international attention as the Twitter account for the Auschwitz Memorial tweeted, “This is why every single day we work hard to educate.”

Baraboo School District Superintendent Dr. Lori Mueller issued this statement:

The Barabook School District sent the following letter to parents this morning in response to a photo on social media.

Dear Parents/Guardians of Baraboo School District Students:

Early this morning, a photo that was taken last spring of some Barabook School District students who appear to be making extremely inappropriate gestures began circulating on social media. The District has confirmed at this time that the photo was not taken on school property or at a school-sponsored event.

The school district is investigating this situation and is working with parents, staff and local authorities. If the gesture is what it appears to be, the district will pursue any and all available and appropriate actions, including legal, to address the issue.

With that, we want to be very clear: the Baraboo School District is a hate-free environment where all people, regardless of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or ancestry, are respected and celebrated.

Sincerely,

Dr. Lori Mueller, Superintendent
