Donald Trump Hosts Panel Of Bill Clinton “Accusers” Before 2nd Debate

Just hours before he takes the stage for the 2nd presidential debate, he held a press event flanked by women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual abuse decades ago.

This is wild, political drama, folks.

Donald Trump thinks he can defend his own boorish behavior by taking folks back decades.

It’s notable that President Clinton was impeached and found innocent back in the 90s.

The woman in the center of the above pic, Juanita Broaddrick, who initially accused Bill Clinton of a rape that she said occurred in 1978, but went on to sign an affidavit swearing no such event ever happened.

Years later, she recanted that affidavit.

How all of this relates to Hillary Clinton’s ability to serve as president I don’t know.

Flashback to when Donald Trump supported Hillary against these women.

Scott Baio Defends Donald Trump: Trump “Talks Like A Guy,” So Grow Up If You’re Offended

I’m not sure if it’s good news that Donald Trump has Scott Baio, 70s/80s sitcom actor, come to his defense with this.

Talking to Fox News, “Chachi” had this to say:

“He [Donald Trump] talks like a guy. And ladies out there, this is what guys talk about when you’re not around. So if you’re offended by it, grow up. And by the way, this is what you guys talk about over white wine at your brunches. So take it easy with the phony outrage, this is the way the world works. It’s not a big thing.”

Make note that the Fox News host jumps in quickly to say “I don’t! I don’t talk like that!”

SNL Celebrates #PussyGate

We all knew the folks at Saturday Night Live had to be planning something after this weeks’ vice-presidential debate. And they do give us some spot-on Kaine/Pence debate action.

But, of course we have to preempt in the wake of #PussyGate!

Alec Baldwin delivers another memorable “Trump” here (can’t pronounce “apologize”), and Kate McKinnon’s “Hillary Clinton” when asked if she wants Trump to drop out of the race is perfection.

Watch below.

Via Facebook:

“Enough! Donald Trump should not be President. He should withdraw. As a Republican, I hope to support someone who has the dignity and stature to run for the highest office in the greatest democracy on earth.”

Political World Responds To #PussyGate

(image via JoeMyGod)

You have to give it to the Clinton campaign – they have moved quickly on many, many moments in this campaign cycle.

Here’s the video response to the latest Trump scandal, #PussyGate.

Rightfully, the Clinton team sees this as just one more episode in a long line of demeaning, anti-woman dialogues from Trump.

Meanwhile, it took Trump several hours to come up with a plan to deflect this new scandal, but he finally issued this video apology delivered with all the sincerity of a hostage reading a note from his captors.

Note that he asks you to ignore his behavior from ten years ago even as he brings up Bill Clinton’s alleged behavior from 20 years ago:

Other Republicans are not feeling Trump’s statement:

• Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence: “As a husband and father, I was offended by the words and actions described by Donald Trump in the 11-year-old video released yesterday. I do not condone his remarks and cannot defend them. I am grateful that he has expressed remorse and apologized to the American people. We pray for his family and look forward to the opportunity he has to show what is in his heart when he goes before the nation tomorrow night.”

• Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois calls on Trump to drop out, says RNC should find “emergency replacement.”

• Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus: “No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever.”

• Senator John McCain: “There are no excuses,” Trump “alone should suffer the consequences” for what he said about women.”

• Republican Congressman Mike Coffman of Colorado: “Mr. Trump should step aside. Put the country first and do the right thing.”

• And then there was this from CNN, when Republican strategist Anna Navarro spoke out to those defending Trump:
