D.C. had no problems last night. Many arrests. Great job done by all. Overwhelming force. Domination. Likewise, Minneapolis was great (thank you President Trump!).

On Thursday, a local TV reporter tweeted video footage of him being berated by anti-shutdown protesters in the New York City borough of Long Island shouting “fake news” and “the enemy of the people.” “You’re disgusting. You are the virus!” shouted one attendee. “Traitor!” said another. News 12 Long Island reporter Kevin Vesey shared the video writing, “The level of anger directed at the media from these protestors was alarming. As always, I will tell a fair and unbiased story today.” In the video you can see people getting in Vesey’s face using anti-media rhetoric. Extremely disconcerting. Making matters worse, Donald Trump, who opened the door for this ever-devolving public discourse, retweeted the video attacking the reporter with his own ugly attacks of “FAKE NEWS IS NOT ESSENTIAL” and praising the protesters as “great people!” Sad.

87,000 Americans dead, 1.3 million infected, and the president is attacking a local TV news reporter who was trying to do his job and cover a protest. Indecent, vile. https://t.co/fPBfz0MWak

It’s discouraging enough to watch the tape of these knuckledraggers harassing a reporter who’s just doing his job by covering their protest (and who produced an even-handed segment for his local newscast).
But to see the President pile on, bullying a civilian… it’s nauseating. https://t.co/XCdsqwAqqO

Sara Walton Brady, 40, of Meridian, was noncompliant and refused to leave after being given many opportunities, police said. She was arrested on one count of misdemeanor trespassing. She was booked into Ada County Jail and released.
According to a police press release, officers on Tuesday night responded after several calls were made to dispatch. Officers then informed those gathered that the playground structure was closed and that they were welcome to utilize open areas of the park.
Walton Brady posted a $300 cash bond Tuesday evening, and her next court date is set for May 29, according to online court records.
A GoFundMe campaign was launched to “buy booze” for the arresting officer.

When attending Pride events, eventually we come across the protesters – you know, the haters with their icky signs telling us all how we’re going to Hell.
Although now that Gay Hell exists in Michigan, who knows? Maybe we’ll take a road trip.
Anyway, most of the time I think we all just ignore them. Who knows what kind of crackpot they might turnout to be?
But other times, they can make you want to break out in a robust chorus of Taylor Swift’s, “You Need To Calm Down.”
In a video posted to Twitter, one proud gay decided he’d fight fire with lust.
There the hater stood with his “God Hates Pride” sign, complete with sayings like “When PRIDE cometh, then cometh SHAME;” “A man’s PRIDE shall bring him low;” and “The PRIDE of thine heart DECEIVED thee
Bible in hand while wearing a t-shirt with sleeves covered with large letters spelling, “REPENTANCE, the protester stood there, making his sad contribution to the day.
And then, up walks a hottie in tank top and gym shorts who begins making out with a furry, shirtless, gay wearing a rainbow bandana.
The passionate kiss works its magic quickly as the protester can’t get out of there fast enough.
Our heroes are left there to enjoy Pride (and the kiss) in peace.
