According to a USA Today/iMediaEthics Poll, Americans are evenly split 42% to 42% on whether Donald Trump should be impeached.

Poll: 45% Of Trump Followers Would Still Support Him Even If He Shot Someone

New survey results from Public Policy Polling show Donald Trump’s followers tend to operate from a position of “willful ignorance” when it comes to their guy.

According to the poll:

• Only 45% of Trump voters believe Trump Jr. had a meeting in June of 2016 with a “Russian government attorney” with the express purpose to get dirt on Hillary Clinton. That’s after Trump Jr. himself released emails confirming he did just that. Even with that admission, 32% of Trumpers say the meeting didn’t happen.

• 64% of Trump voters oppose an investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

• 72% of Trumpers say the Russia story is “fake news.”

• Only 26% believe Russia wanted Trump to win the election.

• Even if proof were to be found that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the campaign, 77% of his supporters say he should stay in office.

• 45% of Trump folks say they would still approve of him even if he shot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue.

And there you have it, folks.

New Poll: 37 Nations Give Trump Much Lower Ratings Than Obama

Trump told Americans that “the world will respect us again” when he was running for president.

But according to a new Pew Research Center Poll, it’s exactly the opposite – 37 nations gave President Obama much higher ratings on the world stage than Trump does today.

Check the numbers above.

The only two countries where Trump looked good was – surprise! – Israel and Russia.

Trump’s Approval Rating Drops To Lowest Level In CBS News Poll

CBS News Poll this morning shows President Trump with a 36% approval rating, his lowest in a CBS News Poll since he took office.

His disapproval rating stands at 57%.

The drop in approval comes, in great part, in an 11 point drop in support from Republicans, from 83% in April to 72% approval now.

Almost two out of three Americans (63%) disapprove of Trump’s handing of the Russian investigation into interference in the 2016 election. Only 28% of those polled approve.

The poll also found 40 percent of Republicans now think it is at least somewhat likely the Trump campaign had improper contact with Russia, up from 25 percent in March.

Quinnipiac Poll: 58% Of Registered Voters Disapprove Of Trump Job Performance

A new poll from Quinnipiac University shows President Trump’s approval number trending further down, losing support from white voters with no college degree, as well as indie voters and white male voters.

The president is losing support among independent voters and groups which are important parts of his base. Approval ratings are:

• Negative 29 – 63 percent among independent voters, down from a negative 38 – 56 percent April 19

• A split among white voters with no college degree, as 47 percent approve and 46 percent disapprove, compared to a 57 – 38 percent approval April 19

• White men go from a 53 – 41 percent approval April 19 to a split today with 48 percent approving and 46 percent disapproving.

Poll: Slim Majority Of Americans Say AG Jeff Sessions Should Resign For Lying Under Oath

The latest Quinnipiac University poll shows:

• 52% of American voters say that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions lied under oath during his confirmation hearings, and 51% say Sessions should resign

• 54% disapprove of the way President Donald Trump is handling U.S. policy towards Russia

• 66% of Americans support an “independent commission investigating potential links between some of Donald Trump’s campaign advisors and the Russian government”

• 61% of Americans are “very concerned” or “somewhat concerned” about President Trump’s relationship with Russia

• 62% of voters say alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election is a “very important” or “somewhat important” issue

Poll: 65% Of Americans Want Special Prosecutor To Investigate Trump/Russia Connections

According to the latest CNN/ORC poll, 65% of Americans would like to see a special prosecutor appointed to look into alleged contacts between Russian officials and President Trump’s associates.

Other findings:

• Last week’s speech to Congress didn’t move the needle for the President: 49% of those polled say his policy proposals will move the nation in the right direction, which is just about the same as before the speech (48%).

• 53% of those polled say Trump’s policy priorities do not match their own.

• Trump remains underwater on several key issues – Health care (53% disapprove), immigration (55% disapprove), foreign affairs (54% disapprove).

CNN Poll: 78% Viewed President Trump’s Speech To Congress “Positively”

It would appear that CNN has found it’s way out of “fake news” purgatory, at least for the moment.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tweeted out the news that CNN’s poll following last night’s address by President Trump at a joint-session of Congress found the speech “Very positive” (57%) or “Some-what positive” (21%) of those polled.

Morale of the story? You get out of detention when you say things Team Trump likes.

As many know, in the past several weeks, the Trump administration has labeled CNN and other media outlets “fake news” when those sources have reported less-than-flattering information on the nascent presidency.

The feeling is so joyous over the current warm fuzzies regarding last night’s speech that the White House has announced a delay on the new, revised executive order regarding immigration policy.

A senior administration official told CNN that they don’t want to take away from the president’s speech. “We want the (executive order) to have its own ‘moment.’”

For historical comparisons, the reaction to President Obama’s first address to Congress was 68% “Very positive” and 24% “Somewhat positive.”

Quinnipiac Poll: Trump Sinks To 38% Approval / 55% Disapproval

President Trump

And the news gets just a bit worse for President Trump.

According to Tim Malloy, assistant director for Quinnipiac University Poll, “President Donald Trump’s popularity is sinking like a rock. He gets slammed on honesty, empathy, level headedness and the ability to unite. And two of his strong points, leadership and intelligence, are sinking to new lows.”

From the latest survey:

• Trump has a negative job approval rating – 38% approve, 55% disapprove

• 55% say Trump is not honest

• 55% say he doesn’t have good leadership skills

• 53% say he doesn’t care about everyday Americans

• 63% say he isn’t level-headed

• 58% say he is dividing the country more than uniting it

• 58% believe Trump is intelligent, 38% do not

One month into his presidency, I can’t imagine this is what he had in mind.
