Pink announces she’s “insanely proud” of her upcoming album, Beautiful Trauma (release date October 13th), and shares the first single from the collection, pop anthem “What About Us.”
I could not be more excited right now. My single comes out today “What About Us” and my new album “Beautiful Trauma” comes out October 13th. I’m certifiably, insanely proud of this album. It’s been a while, and I’m grateful for all the years we’ve had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you.
This is the first new music from Pink in 5 years, and folks are ready. The new song is just what you want from Pink: mainstream power pop with empowering lyrics.
And there are some not-so-vague references to our new Cheeto In Chief. Check some of these lyrics:
And you sold us down the river too far
What about us – What about all the times you said you had the answers?
What about us – What about all the plans that ended in disaster?
What about love? / What about trust?
We were willing / We came when you called / But man, you fooled us / Enough is enough!

• A Texas lawmaker has proposed legislation that w before they could get a prescription for Viagra to make a satirical point about the obstacles that Texas women face every day.
• Congressional Democrats will reintroduce The Equality Act, which would amend existing civil rights laws to add protections on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in workplaces, housing, and public spaces.

Pink drops her new song “Just Like Fire” from the soundtrack of the upcoming Alice Through the Looking Glass, and it’s a high-flying, visually vibrant tea party.
The artist displays her impressive aerial silk skills, plays a riveting game of human chess and drinks tea with the Mad Hatter, all while singing about the importance of loving and accepting one’s self fully, even if others think you’re mad.
In typical Pink fashion, the video is energetic and thrilling, especially when her husband, played by real life hubby Carey Hart, decides it’s time to send her off to an institution after her own special trip through the looking glass.
Three-time Grammy Award winner and uber-talent Pink closed her incredible “The Truth About Love” tour in Las Vegas last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and I was invited to go!
This is where I get all “fan boy” because I’m a big, big fan of Pink – her music, her passion, her authenticity AND her support for the LGBT community.
I had heard from several friends that this was the BEST concert they had ever seen. And now I know why.
From her first entrance, high above the stage, where she bungie bounced while singing “Raise Your Glass” to the acoustic version of “F**kin Perfect” downstage near the audience, to the amazing aerial sequence for “Sober,” to her “Peter Pan on steriods” finale that had her literally flying over the entire arena and audience – this was an incredible event. That’s all I can call the show because “concert” doesn’t feel like it’s encompasses what happened on the stage (or above it).
Michael and I attended with Olivia Newton-John, who is a big fan of Pink. So we got to say ‘hello’ before the show. It was wild to be in the same room with these two hyper-talented artists.
If you haven’t checked out her latest CD, multi-Grammy-nominated “The Truth About Love,” GO GET IT!
The DVD of this concert was just released two weeks ago. Check it out on Amazon and watch the show I just got to see. You’ll be blown away.
Backstage everyone has to have some sort of ID. This was mine! Squee!

Ran into an old friend. The hallways backstage are lined with portraits of the big stars who have played there. Had to stop and take a pic with Miss Vanessa Williams 🙂
Tickets ready! Heading into the MGM Grand Garden Arena
Pink doing bungie drops while singing opening song “Raise Your Glass” The production design and staging were fantastic. And those words aren’t enough to express the fabulousity.
