Music: Lady Gaga featuring R Kelly “Do What U Want”

Lady Gaga has released the latest single from her album ARTPOP, a duet with R. Kelly called “Do What U Want”.

Through a series of tweets before it’s release last night at midnight Lady Gaga sent the message that “i dont need anybodys permission to be remembered. I will be. Whether they like it or not”

Check out the song below.  New hit for Gaga  or miss?

New music: Cazwell “No Selfie Control”

This song makes me laugh.

Sooooo many people on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can NOT stop taking the “selfie.”

Advocate calls this a “good-natured jab at the current fascination people have with repeatedly posting their filtered image through applications such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.”

Good vibe to the track, too. And Cazwell isn’t hard to look at, either.

New music: Babyface and Toni Braxton “Hurt You”

With 16 Grammy Awards® between them, Toni Braxton and Kenny ‘Babyface’ Edmonds have teamed up for their first album of duets together, LOVE, MARRIAGE & DIVORCE, arriving in stores November 25th.

I’m a fan of both 🙂

The video for the first single from Toni and Babyface, “Hurt You,” was released today. What do you think?

New music: Katy Perry “Walking On Air”

Perry says the inspiration for the new single “Walking On Air” came when she and a friend were strolling in Central Park and she saw a group of people roller-skating to deep house music.

“I looked at her and I said, ‘I have to do a song like that,’ ” she said of the song, which she said she is using to channel dance diva CeCe Peniston’s 1991 hit single, “Finally.” “I was like I really want to bring that authentic 90’s deep house song styling back.”

Jack Johnson hits number 1 again with “From Here To Now To You”

Lady Gaga on Good Morning America – “Applause”

Lady Gaga put a Wizard of Oz spin on her new single “Applause,” switching from Dorothy to Glinda on Good Morning America this morning.

She sat down for an interview with Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer afterward in which she explained the performance:

“All of these outfits and wigs that I’ve been changing in over the years. This is my way of surviving. This is my way of getting to Oz to have all my dreams come true. Whatever we had to do to get past the evil monkeys and the Wicked Witch, Dorothy was able to transform in order to survive. By transforming into Glinda and then transforming at the end into the wizard who was just Dorothy herself, me.”
