Justin Utley – “Funny How Time Flies”

Randy Report favorite Justin Utley makes a fun point posting this pic on his Facebook page with the text – “..and I’m still wearing a white shirt and tie.. Kinda.”

Uber-talented singer/songwriter Utley has famously spoken out about the negativity he experienced at the hand of the Mormon Church growing up in Utah. Thus, the”white shirt and tie” comment.

I have to say, while he’s always been a good looking guy, the more recent pic on the right is serious heat 🙂

Make sure you check out Justin’s Facebook page here, and his music on his official website here.

Great guy, terrific talent.  AND, easy on the eyes.

Las Vegas: Olivia Newton-John Extends Concert Residency Through September 2015

Fans have spoken and Olivia Newton-John is definitely “the one that they want!” Due to the success of her highly popular “Summer Nights” residency, Flamingo Las Vegas has announced that the show will be extended through Sept. 2015. Performing inside the Donny & Marie Showroom, the beloved internationally-renowned singer-actress will continue to take audiences on a musical journey through her life in film and music next year.

“It has been amazing to be able to call Las Vegas home for the past year, and I look forward to performing at Flamingo Las Vegas for another year,” says Olivia. “I am thankful to the fans who have come from all over the world to see the show, as a portion of every ticket sold benefits the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre. In the past year alone we have raised thousands of dollars for the Wellness Programs which help people going through their cancer journey.”

When asked what she’s enjoyed about the past year headlining in Las Vegas, Olivia had this to say:

Being in the same bed every night instead of traveling. Having consistency of a wonderful crew. I’ve got my own soundmen, so it’s always the same. I’ve never had a routine before. This time I’m getting picked up, and I go to work and it’s wonderful.

When you’re touring, you’re on a bus, you’re on a plane, and it’s different every day. There’s excitement in that, but it’s much more wearing than being in one place. I like being here, and now I’m here for next year.

It has been amazing to be able to call Las Vegas home for the past year, and I look forward to performing at Flamingo Las Vegas for another year. I am thankful to the fans who have come from all over the world to see the show.

Bette Midler Has Highest Ever Billboard Chart Debut With “It’s The Girls”

Bette Midler’s new CD – It’s The Girls – marks her fifth consecutive decade of top 10 albums on the Billboard 200 chart with the new release coming in at #3 this week. That marks her highest debut on the chart ever.

Midler becomes only the second woman, after Barbra Streisand, to have top 10 albums in each of the last five decades (1970s through 2010s).

From Billboard:

Midler has only climbed higher on the chart once before, when the 1989 Beaches soundtrack hit No. 2. (It consists entirely of Midler tunes heard in the film, including the No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Wind Beneath My Wings.”)

The three-time Grammy Award winner’s first top 10 came with her debut, The Divine Miss M, which arrived almost 42-years ago on the chart dated Dec. 9, 1972. It peaked at No. 9 the following March. She later visited the top 10 with a self-titled album (No. 6 in 1974), the Beaches soundtrack (No. 2 in 1989), Some People’s Lives (No. 6 in 1991) and Bette Midler Sings the Peggy Lee Songbook (No. 10 in 2005).
