Donald Trump Brought Back “Merry Christmas?”

I’m not sure where this odd trope came from that pretends we lost the ability to say “Merry Christmas?”

And suddenly pussy-grabber Donald Trump has now given us the gift of “Merry Christmas-ing?”

There’s even a creepy pro-Trump video featuring a little girl THANKING him for LETTING us say “Merry Christmas.”

WTF?

MSNBC: Did Donald Trump Really “Bring Back Christmas?”

I keep hearing about this “War on Christmas” thing.

But where is it?

Donald Trump has said many times he will “bring Christmas back.” But where did it go?

Did we stop celebrating Christmas? I must have missed that one.

Trump tells folks all the time that we’re going to be able to say “Merry Christmas” again – but who stopped?

I know part of the rant from Trump is aimed at his favorite target, President Obama, who the Trumpster claims banned the words “Merry Christmas” from the nation.

But did he?

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes sheds light on whether or not Barack Obama ever said the holiday Christmas greeting.

“Happy Holidays” Or “Merry Christmas”

I’ve never really understood this “war on Christmas” thing.

I mean, why get mad?

You never know if the person who’s saying the greeting is Jewish or Muslim or Christian or Atheist.

So, why not just be nice? A friendly greeting shouldn’t be met with a lecture.

The whole point of the holiday season is the INTENT and the spirit of giving in a “Christ-like” manner; the spirit of acceptance.

Who cares if someone says “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays?” In this day of Donald Trump’s divisive rhetoric, I’m just happy people are saying “hi.”
