Fox News Campaigns With Donald Trump

After Fox News pundit Sean Hannity specifically said that he would not appear onstage with Donald Trump at a campaign rally last night:

Sean Hannity then did this:

While onstage, Hannity made a point to gesture to the press covering the event, including cameras for Fox News and declared, “Fake news.”

Fellow Fox News personality Judge Jeanine Pirro also showed up to trumpet the Trumpster.

Fox News wasn’t happy:

Whoopi Rips Smug Jeanine Pirro: “What I Suffer From Is The Inability To Figure Out How To Fix” Trump

So, I had more people reach out and ask if I’d seen this wild and wooly clash between Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro (who’s so far up Donald Trump’s backside to replace Attorney General Jeff Sessions she can’t breathe) and The View‘s Whoopi Goldberg.

And its everything people told me it would be.

Via USA Today:

“You suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Pirro said, pointing at Goldberg. The term, which stemmed from “Bush Derangement Syndrome,” has been used by Trump supporters to suggest that those who do not support the president are unable to think clearly and logically about the state of the country.

“Let me tell you what I have,” Goldberg began. “I’m tired of people starting a conversation with ‘Mexicans are liars and rapists.’ I’m 62 years old. There have been a lot of people in office that I didn’t agree with. But I have never, ever seen anything like this. I have never seen anybody whip up such hate. I have never seen anybody be so dismissive.”

She continued: “Clearly, you don’t watch the show, so you don’t know that I don’t suffer from that. What I suffer from is the inability to figure out how to fix this.”

Goldberg then attempted to switch topics to the “deep state.” Instead, a shouting match erupted as both women debated what is most horrible about the country today: Pirro claimed those entering the country illegally were killing U.S. citizens; Goldberg countered that the president’s rhetoric was inciting violence toward minorities.

“Say goodbye. Bye. I’m done,” Goldberg said, ripping up her cue cards.

Whoopi don’t suffer fools lightly, kids.

Fox News’ Judge Jeanine Blames Obama For Rob Porter Debacle

Fox News‘ Judge Jeanine Pirro began her show last night with a twisting rant intended to defend White House Chief of Staff John Kelly’s handling of the Rob Porter resignation this week.

“Have you been tricked into thinking someone was an upstanding person only to find out that the person inside was totally different?” Pirro asked. She added, “It’s nothing new, it happens to all of us, all the time.”

After laying out her version of the Porter tale – she alleges no one in the White House had any idea there were domestic abuse issues in Porter’s file until Tuesday night – she summed up her defense of Kelly with the following:

“You want to stop a four-star general who is running the White House, who believes in chain of command, who makes a decision within 40 minutes, because you hate President Trump? Find another scapegoat. You might want to look at the last president.”

How President Obama factors into this I have no idea.

You can watch the segment below. I include the full video for context, but make sure you note the odd change in tone as she finishes with a cheery “And that’s my open.”
