The GLEE star took himself out to Santa Monica for some shirtless fun in the sun.
With things heating up on GLEE with Dean and his developing relationships between “Rachel” and dance teacher Kate Hudson, he probably needed the R&R.
In tonight’s episode of GLEE, we get the unexpected choice of “Blaine” singing “Hopelessly Devoted To You” in one of two episodes showcasing songs from the hit movie musical GREASE.
I think the song sounds great in Darren Criss’ voice. What do you think?

I guess we all had to know GLEE wouldn’t pass up the biggest song of the year…
Season Premiere September 13th.
In this first sneak preview of the upcoming season of GLEE, we get our first glimpse at Brody Weston (Dean Geyer). Geyer describes his first encounter with Rachel: “He’s showering, she comes in, he comes out naked…”

In addition to Geyer, Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist and Becca Tobin also are joining the series as Marley Rose, Puck’s half-brother Jake and Cherrio Kitty, respectively.
In a newest preview of the upcoming season, it looks like Rachel is headed for a tough time in the “big bad Apple,” New York City. Kate Hudson looks to be no “Mr. Shou” in terms of how she handles Rachel.
GLEE returns Thursday, Sept. 13 at 9/8c on Fox.
So, if this deleted scene wasn’t from GLEE’s Christmas episode it could be considered “over-the-top super sweet.”
But since it’s from a holiday show, I give it a pass and point out how adorable Darren Criss looks at the 1:52 mark.

While the show itself has hills and valleys for me, just hearing this song today made me happy.
“Flashdance” the movie was released during my college years when I was in dance class every day, and the soundtrack was practically a constant in dance classes then. So I heard this a LOT back in the day.
This video from GLEE is really kinda silly and grade B “Fame” – but I like the song.
