Official Trailer For ‘Friends: The Reunion’ Is Here

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and special guests reunite to discuss everything from their casting process to whether or not Ross and Rachel were really on a break.
Witness the unbreakable bond of the group that perfectly captured the moment in life when your friends become your family.
The eagerly-awaited Friends: The Reunion will stream May 27 on HBO Max. While I was never the serious hard-core Friends fan, I did enjoy the show. It was truly comfortable, and often very funny. Who didn’t think Matt LeBlanc was uber-cute? This Instagram post pretty much sums up my relationship with the show. https://www.instagram.com/p/CO5yKxdMSvw/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Kathleen Turner Didn’t Feel The Cast Of ‘Friends’ Was “There” For Her

Kathleen Turner, who starred in hit after hit movie in the 80s and 90s – Body Heat, Prizzi’s Honor, Peggy Sue Got Married, The War of the Roses, Romancing the Stone, The Jewel of the Nile – recently shared as only she can in an excellent interview with Vulture.
Along the way, the outspoken actress was asked about her time guesting on the biggest sitcom of all time, Friends, where she played the father of Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry). At the time, the approach was highly criticized by the LGBTQ community as homophobic and transphobic.
Apparently, she didn’t feel the cast was “there” for her.
“I’ll be quite honest, which is my wont: I didn’t feel very welcomed by the cast,” Turner says. “I remember I was wearing this difficult sequined gown — and my high heels were absolutely killing me. I found it odd that none of the actors thought to offer me a seat. Finally it was one of the older crew members that said, ‘Get Miss Turner a chair.’”
“The Friends actors were such a clique — but I don’t think my experience with them was unique,” the actress shared. “I think it was simply that they were such a tight little group that nobody from the outside mattered.”
Asked how she viewed the sitcom stars as actors and actresses: “I won’t comment on that.”
It’s a fabulously unfiltered interview. Highly suggested for your reading pleasure.
First Look At FRIENDS “Reunion”
We have our first picture of the much-ballyhooed “reunion” of the cast of FRIENDS thanks to “The Big Bang Theory” star, Johnny Galecki, who posted the above to his Instagram.
The pic shows his “The Big Bang Theory” co-stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, and Simon Helberg sitting at a table with Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc.
Via ExtraTV:
The “Friends” cast was on hand for an NBC special to honor legendary TV producer and director James Burrows, who directed 15 episodes of the hit show from 1994 to 1998.
The only “Friends” cast member missing was Matthew Perry, who has been rehearsing a play in London. Though Perry wasn’t there, he will introduce the cast in the NBC special via video. The special airs on February 21.
Stars from “Two and a Half Men,” “Will & Grace,” “Cheers,” “Frasier,” and “Mike & Molly” were also scheduled to pay tribute to Burrows.
Short Film: “The Text” (“El SMS”)
Coca-Cola’s True Friendship campaign, which shows teens how not to be cruel at “crossroads moments,” teamed up with Oscar winner Dustin Lance Black on this short film about two teen besties and “that” moment.
From the official description:
In this eight-minute film, a group of teen boys joke and tease each other in the usual high school way about girls, video games and such-like.
Two of the boys are especially close buddies, but Rafael is hiding something from his friend Diego – he’s gay.
When he leaves his phone unattended, Diego reads a text that surprises him.
His decision to cover for his friend, and accept him for who he is, is what cements this true friendship. And, as Rafael points out, gay guys know all the pretty girls.
I have to say: well done. The “moment” has it’s tension and the background is laid beautifully. The rhythms of the dialogue feel like those high-school friends we probably still have in our lives today.
Make sure the closed-caption subtitles are on.
Coke and a smile.
